'I Live Too Fast To Die Young' -- Michael Monroe, New Video

Glam warrior for all time Michael Monroe has a new album called I Live Too Fast To Die Young and now he's released a video for the song of the same name. The song features Slash on guitar, so you know it rocks. Michael is doing a short European tour this winter to support his new record.

Now I want you to imagine this baby: Bret Micheal(s) Monroe. Maybe "Love on the Rocks" would sound a touch less derivative of, well, you know. I kid. I always kid. And I also like baby goats.
One final aside: Slash does indeed rock. But he is no guarantee that a song _will_ be a rocker. Tons of clunkers in his catalog. This song is a rocker because he is swept up in the MM sounds. And he does it proud.
Hope the middle of the week is tipping into a fine end of the week for everyone!
I once saw Michael Monroe having drinks with Billy Idol at the 23rd Street Bar & Grill in NYC … Ironic that Monroe sounds way more PUNK than Idol once Idol threw all that way when he abandoned Generation X to go solo, an endeavor that sounds way more middle of the road than anything Monroe or Slash could ever be conned into except for the patter’s questionable “November Rain”.
