Holy Cow - Look At The Crowd For Motley Crue!

The World Tour with Motley Crue and Def Leppard stopped in Mexico City over the weekend. Motley singer Vince Neil posted some photos of the show and the crowd. I actually did a double-take when I saw the crowd photos. The amount of people that attended the show was massive.

The bands played at Foro Sol Stadium which holds 65,000 people. I do not know if the show was sold out or not, but there is no doubt that tens of thousands of folks attended.

Finally, someone has the cojones--no, the strength--to return Gary Glitter to his rightful place in the firmament. No. Wait? What? Really? Ugh. That's not edgy; that's gross. Nice job, boys. You made a happy old ghost like Jimmy Savile roll and roll and roll and lurch and twist in his grave.

Thank god you aren't doing medleys . . oh, wait. You are. If you stick to your guns, you can do all your albums in about 20 minutes. Maximize profits, right?

I will say this though: Neil sounds good. So, too, do those who I cannot see. You get my point.
It's only rock and roll . . . but I back-track it, track it, yes I do!!!

I know the market decides. But, geesh, some perspective please.

Bottom line is they're still packing them in and making that $. Their longevity and success can never be questioned, regardless of how anyone feels about this legendary band.

You are entirely correct, bkallday. No issue with a single word.

But, as we all know, both you and I (and countless others) have lobbed a few critical comments at this band. Then again, those comments mean nothing if people still want to see them. And they do.

Still, a Glitter song?
