The Glam Tour Of The Summer?

I am totally going to this: Tom Keifer is touring with Winger and John Corabi this summer. The run is called "Live/Loud" and I think this will be the glam tour of the season for sure. The club tour starts in June and runs through August. Tickets are not on sale yet but you can sign-up for a reminder on Tom Keifer's website.

Oh and happy last day of February! There are 20 days until spring!

Wow lol. On one side you've got a homeless dude that's still bitching about not being in the Crue anymore, and on another you've got the completely voice-shot Tom Keifer and what looks like to be a gaggle of other homeless wanna be rock stars. Poor Kip Winger. Thanks Beavis & Butthead!!! Now this is definitely a show for the YMCA.

Forgive me Jack, i'm sure this will be the bill of the summer. Seeing Keifer do his new non rocking version of Push Push is a must for anyone!

Again, bkallday, what's up? You had me laughing at that "Push Push" joke. I mean, seriously laughing. Are we all the sudden, for a moment, besties?

I agree. This is not the tour of the summer, glam or otherwise. What it is is one tour coming nowhere close to the other side of the country. So that is a good way to promote it.

But, now, some other thoughts . . .

Keifer sounds better these days, and has had vocal issues of which we are all aware. Just wish he had found a way to forgive and get the band together before LaBar passed, or got the others back on board (even if they didn't all play on every song on every album).

Winger is still good, if not great, live. As a late convert, I would love to see them play near me.

Corabi? Hmm. This is a third rail issue on this site. Great singer/musician. Great (if under-appreciated) catalog. Great performances live. But some don't like him because he wasn't Neil, played on their 'grunge-ish' album that the rest of the band (but not Sixx and certainly not the record buying public at the time) liked a lot, and has the nerve to have opinions about his career while answering umpteenth questions about the same. And he looks homeless! I mean, sure. No reason to like him.

Then again, bkallday, you are allowed to lob criticisms at MC and we aren't. So, what gives? Oh no. I am potentially ruining our 'besties' brunch of love. But, come on, give Corabi his due. You have bagged on Sixx numerous times. So, too, Corabi. And, yet, you _actually_ share similar ideas with Corabi when it comes to Sixx.

I mean, admit it! You love MC. But you have issues with them. So does Corabi. So do I. If you hate Corabi's music, live or recorded, fine. Opinions, right? But you must see the irony in hating him for things that you hate too? Maybe "hate" is too strong a word. "Dislike"?

Enough. I still think we are on the same page. At least, you aren't threatening to meet me in a parking lot and fight with me. Progress!!!

Haha, I’m pretty sure I’ve never challenged you or anyone else for that matter, to a fight, online. Anyway, tbh I can’t even refute some of what you just said(I’ll try to do better on that, sometimes I can act like a lil bitch when others are ragging on my boys lol). But the whole Corabi thing just bothers me I guess. I mean he had a great voice, he was in a great band(the scream who I loved when let it scream came out), but he just didn’t fit with MC imo. He had such great potential I thought, but for whatever reason, he hasn’t been able to get anything going since MC ended. I mean Union sucked imo, but I’m sure there were a few ppl that liked them. Frankly I wish he would’ve stayed in The Scream, they were a great band. Anyway, I’m sure we will be at it again here soon but for now, it’s all good. 🤘🏼

I loved The Scream too. And, yeah, Union were hit or miss with me, though with tons of potential. I view them in the same light as Badlands or even Lynch Mob.

And I will admit, my views of Cprabi are influenced heavily by how he treated me when I met him. Gracious. Kind. So, too, seeing him do Motley 94 live with his son on the kit. Amazing in a smaller venue in the Bay Area (that no longer exists).

Speaking of which, Motley 94 was, for good or ill, of its time. You are right. It didn't sell. But, for some of us, it still holds up. And you have been right on another issue too. Some people were late adopters of love for that album. Nothing wrong with that though. Me? I found it in a remainder bin at a truck stop in either 95 or 96. You know, when cassettes that didn't sell were marked down and also had that notch carved into the top of the spine? When I heard it, I thought: "This is where 'Primal Scream' was going when Neil was still in the band!" But, sure, sludgy and more downbeat. Didn't hate it. Actually, I loved it. Still do. Then again, experiences differ . . . at one point in time or over time. Heck, I still think "Too High to Fly" is one of Dokken's better late-era songs, even if most were dumpster fires!

Circling back, yeah, we are all good. We both love MC. Appreciated your reply. Truly.
