Mr. Big Announce Retirement Tour; Drummer

Mr. Big will put a cap on their career as a band. "The Big Finish" tour will kick off in Asia this summer and will hit Europe and the U.S. early next year.

Original Mr. Big drummer Pat Torpey died of Parkinson's disease in 2018. The band has just announced Nick D'Virgilio will serve as the touring drummer. He has worked with Mr. Big in the past. I've never seen Mr. Big live, so maybe I will get the chance if the tour comes near me next year.

ouch. this hurts. these guys are a lot of fun live - together, separate, or with any group of guys they tour with. those first two mr. big albums were magical. and they hold up well even today.

I'd love to see them. And, as much as I have issues with Mr. Hair Plug Xenu, can't deny he seems humble, fun, and lively on stage and off.

FINALLY!!! … Another nail in the KISS coffin that is corporate hard rock!

I saw them get blown off the stage by ALICE & CHAINS at The Cat Club NYC in early 1992! … (And rightfully so, considering Billy Sheehan’s participation in death cult, The Church of Scientology!)

Ahmet Ertegun, Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley all bore witness in the audience, haha!!

p.s. I do like “Addicted To That Rush”, however.

Alice & Chains? I thought it was Alice and Change? Or, is it Alice in Chains.

It's the prepositions and conjunctions in life that are, sometimes, most meaningful.
