Sammy Hagar, Def Leppard To Get Stars On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

I'm pretty pumped for this: both Sammy Hagar and Def Leppard will finally get stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The news came from the Hollywood Walk officials yesterday during a livestreamed event. The video below of Sammy getting the news is pretty sweet.

I have to be honest: I thought both Hagar and the Leps already had their stars, so this honor is beyond overdue.

The ceremonies for both star unveilings have not been scheduled/announced yet.

Good for them! Just wanted to relay a few words about the Keifer/Winger/Corabi tour. I saw them recently and have to say “well done boys”! Caught last 3 Corabi acoustic song s and he sounded fine. Good voice. Winger! What can one say? They are fabulous. All original band. Musicianship was awesome and Kip sounds great. I haven’t seen them since like ‘88 and I have an entirely different perspective. Madeleine sounded so heavy live and the drum and guitar jams at the end of the song accentuated the heaviness. Keifer next! Great energy from Tom and company. His voice sounds real strong versus 10 or so years ago. One sound “issue”. The vocals (Tom & 2 backup women) seem very load and upfront in the mix. My friend said could be venue acoustics. Skeptical me thinks his voice is doctored. But I doubt that. Highlights were Night Songs and Somebody Save Me. Also kudos to the father the brought his 2 teen daughters to the show. When I saw them I thought, nice dad showing his kids the good stuff. But the young ladies were the fans! Screaming, jumping singing! Their energy was contagious. Best show in a while for me!!

That’s as bad as Neil Sedaka greeting into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
