New Hair Metal Documentary Coming To Paramount+

This is exciting! A documentary about the glam metal heyday of the 80s is coming to Paramount+ on July 18. It's called I Wanna Rock: The ‘80s Metal Dream. The documentary is in three parts and will feature members of Skid Row, Winger, Twisted Sister, Vixen and The Scream (yes, John Corabi!)

I'm down for this and I can't wait. Watch the trailer below!

Hard pass for me on this one. At this point all the stories have been told, rehashed, and told again and again.

Zero desire to watch this. Can't take anything seriously that uses the negative derogatory term "hair". Hair is just a physical attribute not a style of metal. Why can't people just say Glam Metal (what the style of metal actually is)? ...Just like Glam Rock was a thing in the 70's. Might as well start calling that "hair" rock, I guess???

What a wasted opportunity.
This could have been very cool and put some much needed respect back to some of these Glam Metal legends.
Everybody who took part in this just looks like a clown now.
It's embarrassing.

This "hair" sillyness is why Glam Metal (hasn't and) will never make a real comeback.
All these legendary bands will never get the respect they deserve cause of weird people who are more obsessed with "hair" than the actual music.

Preach, Casey. “The lyrics weren’t deep enough” is another fave line I always love to hear. Like bro, this music wasn’t meant to fix the climate or lean politically one way or the gd other. It was about something we all should be able to relate to, having fun & enjoying life! 🤘🏼
