Bang Tango Frontman Suffers Stroke

Joe Leste, singer of Bang Tango, suffered a stroke earlier this month. The 58 year old is still in a rehabilitation center and obviously the care isn't cheap. You can donate to Joe's GoFundMe below (second post).

Strokes are terrifying. The Facebook post from Joe seems upbeat, but what else can he say at this point? Presumably the post was written for him, but I do hope he makes a full recovery.

Never really got into these guys but i definitely hope his health improves and he’s back at it! Just another sign that our bands aren’t gonna be around forever & any day could be their last, so we better enjoy them while we still have the chance!!! Long live Joe & all the rest of our beloved 80’s ”heroes”!!! 🤘🏼

As a two time stroke survivor, I can understand the physical and emotional toll this is having on Joe as well as his family and friends. It seems that he's in good hands and on the road to recovery. I wish him hope, health and healing. I'm positive he's feeling pretty stressed right now. His body was talking to him. Allow his doctors to understand it and provide the most effective treatment, which may ebb and flow as your body readjusts. Joe is a strong person. I believe that he'll get through this. My best to him.

What Bkallday and Fletch said. Seriously. Despite our disputes, there are some things that don't involve our (good-natured, I hope) squabbling.

And while Leste has live a life and then some (and engendered some seemingly deserved criticisms over the years), I certainly hope he gets better soon.

Actually, no. To say one has 'lived a life' in no way suggests that they are, as a result, no longer living. But, again, ouch. And I like the way you are leaving your own quotations (of yourself?) open-ended, as if the comment just sorta' trails off into . . .

Thing is, in no way, shape, or form am I as interesting or musical (in person or in posting) as most GnR songs.

But I am pretty good at humming and playing the spoons! And uh one, and uh two, and uh . . .
