New Lynch Mob Video - 'Time After Time'

Going into this holiday weekend, I'm feeling a little blue. It is the unofficial end to summer, and that always gets me down. I hate the cold, dark days and those are coming for us. The only solace is football season.

There's new Lynch Mob music to enjoy at least - here's the video for "Time After Time" from the album Babylon.

I like that they went for a bit of levity in the video. And I like Colon's voice (and I bet he is more reliable than a fellow whose name rhymes with "Hogan." D'Anda must be happy to be back pounding the skins for Lynch Mod and avoid the erratic side-eyes from a certain Bullet Man-Child.

I just, well, have trouble getting into the band. Not sure why either. Thing is, "Time After Time" is a bit stickier for me than a lot of their more recent (and past) stuff. The song also sounds like another song--especially the echo-like vocals--that I frustratingly can't recall the name of at present.

I wish Lynch well. He is part of the fabric of my youth. I just wish he had risen to the level of the classic era of Dokken with his 5,000 other projects (some of which, in fits and starts, have shown some real promise).

kinda cool. but kinda bland. but should be a nice addition to the live show.
as for end of summer, that must be nice - it’s going to be 100° here in TX for another week or two. i wish we had actual seasons here.

I have a friend who lives in TX, Stu. Can't imagine putting up with that heat (then again, it is getting hotter where I live nowadays, although we do have seasons)! I love to visit, having been there and the surrounding states close to a dozen times. But definitely not in the summer! Heck, I was there once in April and it was already muggy (I hate humidity). But I think grackles are hilarious, like crows on crack!

I remember the song: "The Burden of Being Wonderful" by Steel Panther. What an idiot!
