Metallica, 'Sad But True' -- Pro-Shot Live, August 25, 2023

I love this! Metallica performed at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on August 25. The band drew something like 80,000 people setting a record. Each night of their current M72 tour features a different setlist. On August 25, folks in the crowd got to see Metallica do "Sad But True."

Ok, so the new album isn't as dynamic as master, as thrashy as kill em all, as classic as ride the lightning, or as bombastic as and justice, but it's still a solid release imo. And the fact they're changing up the setlists is totally awesome, regardless of how you feel about what they've now become. I saw them on the Hardwired tour but if they come near me, I'll def hafta go again! \m/
