Metallica wins Grammy for ’72 Seasons’

Metallica won a Grammy for Best Metal Performance for their album 72 Seasons. It was a well-deserved award and Metallica blew away their competition this year. I’m happy for them. Maybe someday the Metal category will make it on the television broadcast again… but doubtful.

The live show is mostly performances these days anyway. I didn’t watch the live broadcast last night. It was just easier to read the awards on the Washington Post live update post. Plus, I started Money Heist: Berlin on Netflix last night, so… priorities I guess.

I don't know what's worse, the fact that they're still doing the Grammys or the fact that they chose to give Metallica an award for best metal album. Smfh
