If Oasis Can Do It...

So Oasis is going to reunite and if they can, surely Skid Row and Sebastian Bach can patch things up. Or Richie Sambora and Bon Jovi. Or not. But this just proves anything can happen and money sure does talk when it comes to rock n' roll. Good luck to those Oasis fans who want to get tickets for the tour next year.

I guess one question is "if." The other question is "should." And, as you allude to, the other question is "why." And that one is easy.

Skid won't even if the "why" makes sense to us. And let's just be honest: An Chovi has employees. Always has. And that one employee has made all kinds of excuses for his leaving the band. But we all know why he did leave. And his employer, at this point, doesn't need him around because the "why" has never been an issue without Sambora. If anything, Sambora cuts into the profits. Then again, said employer is dealing with end of the road anyway, due to his vocal issues.

Crowes (well, the brothers) and Oasis (well, the brothers) got back together for the same reason "why," but also for all the reason that they (both sets of brothers) list in their respective PRs. Then again, who knows? Maybe they all really do love each other again and the money is just a nice extra after all the years of vitriol?

At least the Sex Pistols made the "why" front and center when they did the "Filthy Lucre" tour in '96 . . . and why 3/4 of them (with apologies to Sid) are doing it this time, even if this one doesn't seem to be about money . . . which would have likely made them kiss and make up with a certain someone who can be a hard PIL to swallow!

Anger is an energy, folks! That is, until you need to pay your mortgage!
