This Is Where We Are: Midnight Prowlers (AI Generated)

Behold this track from Midnight Prowlers. It is called "Roar Into the Era of 80s Hair Metal" (I think that is the title anyway). The song is completely AI. The video is completely AI. The band of Lions, of course, is completely AI.

Sadly I have to admit the track is catchy but you can tell it is computer generated. The song was created by Lofi Living on YouTube. The account specializes in 80s nostalgia.

I appreciate the effort and creativity. They sucked me in with the big cats. But what happens when all music is computer generated? Will kids even learn to play guitars in the future? Can we only trust old music to be the "real thing?"

Thoughts to ponder I guess.

creative for sure, but i don’t understand why people want this, or want to make this drivel. if this is the future, are we heading for a generation of animated furries?

Horrible but it sounds just like all the other more modern “glam” bands that we have these days! Absolutely generic 🗑️

OMG! … What did they punch into the computers?

Crazy Lixx x Eclipse x Crash Diet x Reckless Love sugarcoated with a layer of Europe?

So creepy, this stuff is scarier than Norwegian Death Metal!

Exactly right, MB! Generic crap!

. . . you all protest too much.

It is what it is. And it is exactly the sort of stuff that, without the added knowledge that it is AI, some would support.

Turing test, anyone?
