By Request: My Vintage .38 Special Shirt

As I mentioned in the .38 Special post about the new cover of their song "Hold On Loosely," my good buddy Joe gave me a vintage shirt from the band's 1984 tour.

It's from the "Tour de Force" run in 1984. Here's the front and back of the shirt. Like I said, it's too big for me, but I'll figure it out.

I love vintage concert shirts and I couldn't believe it when Joe presented it to me, just randomly in May. I told him he should have saved it for Christmas and he just shrugged. The shirt belonged to his older brother, now no longer with us. I will be a good caretaker of the shirt.

Here's the shirt: the horses are on the front.

Joe Bonamassa & Train Release 'Hold On Loosely' Cover

So this is interesting: Joe Bonamassa teamed up with Train to release a cover of the .38 Special classic "Hold On Loosely." I've always been a big fan of the song and this cover is great. Honestly, this might be the best Train has ever sounded (to me, at least). Obviously, Bonamassa's guitar work is awesome. The collab we didn't know we needed!

My good friend Joe gave me a vintage .38 Special shirt a few weeks ago. It's from their 1984 tour. The shirt is from one of the shows the band did with the basically unknown-at-the-time Bon Jovi! It's too big for me, but I will figure out a way to style it.
