Farewell Christine McVie

Christine McVie, singer and songwriter for Fleetwood Mac, has died. She was 79. McVie's family made the announcement yesterday and the news caused many ripples among the music world.

I always considered McVie the best singer in Fleetwood Mac - yes, better than Stevie Nicks. The two were very close, which probably made their working relationship and stage shows together even more special. My very favorite Fleetwood song is "Everywhere" which McVie wrote and sang. I am so grateful this song came to McVie!

"The “Mac” were sat on the next table to us when Stevie Nicks was inducted as a solo artist into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 & to see the smile on CV’s face as her mate got the award just shows she was a brilliant “band” person too… RIP Songbird…"
