Motley Crue Tease Special Show

Well, the new Motley Crue track "Dogs of War" is here. It's about what I expected. No, it doesn't sound like Dr. Feelgood-era Crue. Maybe more like Brides of Destruction?
I could do without Vince Neil repeating the word "bastard" so many times, but whatever. I don't hear a lot of John 5 fancy guitar work here. The drums are definitely Tommy Lee.
I guess my reaction is mixed. I need to listen a few more times. I'm sure it will grow on me as most songs do in time. Thoughts?
Official band post with actual video (10:00 AM ET):
Social announcement:
Several months back, Motley Crue did a secret show and billed themselves as the Dogs of War, so it isn't a surprise to learn we are getting a track from that name as well. Friday will be interesting.
Then this was apparently on YouTube for a hot minute last night... but I can't find any reference to it now. I guess this is how we get music news these days. Through cryptic messages and "mistake" posts.
I know Beyonce just released a country album and good for her I suppose. That said, the last thing I want (or need!) is a Motley Crue country-hip hop fusion album. Just give me some new rock and call it a day!
New Crüe coming up right around the corner. People who have heard it say it’s a powerful cross between country and hip hop.

The band has a deep enough catalog to mix things up. The top song I would want Motley to drop from their live set is "Kickstart My Heart." I know that isn't going to happen, but I just can't listen to that one anymore. It's like me with AC/DC and "Back in Black." Too much of a good thing ruins it after a point.
Great week for Crüe- worked on new songs with 5 for the summer shows-Me and Tommy came up with a cool setlist and the stage set is moving along nicely. Lots of planning for new music release and boatloads of press being confirmed. I have this say, this was a Good Friday.

The set of four is $80 and honestly I'm surprised they are not sold-out as of this writing. Check out the figurines (non-sponsored link).
