Farewell Mikeal Maglieri

Mikeal (Mike) Maglieri, owner of the Rainbow Bar & Grill and Whisky A Go Go, has died. He was 73. Apparently it was a heart attack.

Just think of all the fun (and debauchery) Maglieri witnessed at his Sunset Strip clubs. Heck, those two clubs basically birthed the Glam scene in Los Angeles in the 80s. Mikael took over the clubs from his dad Mario. Mario died at age 93 and was the original owner of both, plus The Roxy. Amazing history.
