Breaking: Dirty Looks Singer Dead

This is shocking, Dirty Looks singer Henrik Ostergaard has died.

Obviously this is a sudden death. According to Blabbermouth, Ostergaard died just this morning. An autopsy is pending.

More Fuel to the Poison/Crue Fire

So, Eddie Trunk dropped a quasi bombshell last night.

He Tweeted: “From what I'm hearing Motley and Poison will tour together this Summer after all.”

And there it is. I must be too cynical because I just dismissed all the rumors as just that: rumors. I guess if this does happen, Motley Crue would headline, but I suppose I shouldn't assume. I will say this: if Poison/Crue does happen, I can't see as how it would be a long tour. I'm thinking a very short run.

Think back to all those times Nikki Sixx said he and his band would never tour with Poison. Fascinating. I guess money (and Live Nation) talks.

Thoughts?

Who Likes Uriah Heep?

I'm seeing Uriah Heep this summer. They are playing a little amphitheater across the street from my house and tickets are just five bucks.

I've never seen them before and I don't know much about them really, but I'm glad to add another band to my "I've seen 'em live" list. Plus, they are English and that is cool. I love accents.

So, have you seen Uriah Heep? What are your opinions?

Nobody Rides For Free vs. Nobody Rides For Free

It's that time again. Time to pit song against song to see who comes out on top. Today, we've got “Nobody Rides for Free” vs. “Nobody Rides for Free.” Or, put another way, Dirty Looks vs. RATT.

I hate to influence opinion here, but I prefer the RATT tune: I like the guitar riff better and just the song in general. I like the video better too, but that's beside the point. I don't dislike the Dirty Looks option, I just feel it's not quite as strong. That said, Dirty Looks is rumored to be on the M3 bill and I'm excited about that: I've never seen them, and you know how much I love to scratch bands off my “must see” list.

So which is it? Dirty Looks or RATT?
