Thanks to One Picture - Glam Back?

I'm grateful for even getting an update posted today. My host is having a slew of problems and every time I tried to post, I was met with a massive page error. So, this isn't the original article I had planned, but still one of my favorite subjects nonetheless.

Entertainment Weekly says "glam is back" thanks to Adam Lambert. If you're not a loyal Glambert, let me catch you up. Mr. Lambert revealed the cover of For Your Entertainment a few hours ago. I get that the whole thing is an homage to David Bowie, but I don't really care for the cover. Not that it matters. The only thing that matters is the music - and no one knows what the album sounds like yet. Apparently the first single will be released Monday, and then maybe we'll know.

So, I'll ask the original question again: is Glam back, thanks to this album cover? Tell me "yes" or "no" in the comments section.

Some album covers go down in history as iconic. Others are ridiculed for decades after, regardless of the music. This will fall into the latter category.

WTF!!!??? Thats a great cover if your Pat Benatar if your not its pretty gay then again it is Adam Lambert.

NO! This isn't the "glam" I want to associate myself with. Yes, he's told the whole world he's gay, we get it,but c'mon! I'm going to refrain from saying anything else about this b/c I'm sure I'd offend someone. You honestly think ppl will take this album seriously with an album cover like this? Is it April fools and I didn't get the memo?

Well put, JT - I have to agree. I honestly thought it was a picture of Pink. Not sure who that reflects on more poorly - her or him?

70's glam, maybe. Certainly not 80's. 80's glam was loaded with attitude. That pic is just effeminate.

Although I will say that he does look a bit like Rikki Rocket (sp?) in that pic.

Cheap album covers are back thanks to this picture, but certainly not glam.

First off, i am a guy and ive always been a fan of adam (im straight dont worry) and his voice is just INCREDIBLE but this picture is too much. I see the David Bowie influence but seriously? this would make me embarressed if i was caught with that cover. ill find away to buy it though cuz i bet there is still some kick ass stuff on it.

Wow, has Kelly Osbourne lost weight?!?

Glam blehhh not cover is not Glam, Poison cover was Glam, Motley Crue covers were Glam, that is GEY. He won't bring Glam writing with Lady Gaga and making silly Armageddon ballads.Without band to back it up he will suffocate into POP territory very fast.

I am looking forward to hearing his music. I will have to download it because I WILL NOT walk into a store to purchase that. It definatly screams 70's Glam by the cover. If you want to see a album cover that screams 80's Glam, and really rocks with a bit of humor go pick up STEEL PANTHER's debut album in store now.

That's an transexuell, that's no glam, glam is not gay!

No way, glam rock has been making a comeback for a few years now and this cover has nothing to do with that.

It seems like instead of merely embracing his sexually, Adam has, sadly, decided to market it...

Check out Adam's Twitter posts about the cover. He wanted it to look this way intentionally.

Can't wait to hear this album!
