Merry Christmas my dear Glam friends! I hope you're having a lovely day with your friends and family - away from the interwebs. If you've decided to spend ten minutes on Bring Back Glam! this holiday, then thank you. For your listening pleasure, three versions of "Silent Night" - heavy metal style.
Here's Testament:
Here's Manowar:
Here's Deliverance:
Which do you prefer? Don't cheat - listen all the way through!

1) Testament is the best one as it's the most hilarious because of the juxtaposition between the melody of this lovely little traditional Christmas tune contrasted with the Slayeresque dog barking vocals and bludgeoning guitars of the hardest of Hard Metal.
2) I'll put Deliverance second mainly because of the classic Powerballad dynamic of opening with a soft orchestrated beginning designed to lull unsuspecting Grandmas everywhere to nod off by the fire in the parlor, giving you enuff time to sneak up to the old Grundig to slowly and undetectedly increase the volume up to 11 before the crunching guitars and shrieks blast off the vinyl, only to send said Grandmas bolting out of their Barco loungers straight up through the ceiling and into little Bobby's room where he's making out with the Born Again neighbor's daughter.
3) Manowar's version comes in third as it's a little more pedestrian than the others. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible... well, the vocals are pretty dicey. I actually have always been amused by these characters since the joke about them is they were so die hard and then when they got signed they sold out bigger than anybody. But get a load of those outfits and album covers. If this were being judged on image, these guys would win hands down. Absolutely priceless Metal look.
Merry Christmas, Al and all the Metal kidz out there...
