So I'll Finally See Steel Panther Live

I can't believe it, but I've added another festival to my summer roster: M3, natch. It may be getting out of hand, but whatever, you only live once and I've got bands to chat up and friends to see!

M3 is in Baltimore at Merriweather Post Pavilion. As I recently wrote, M3 is just one day, so it's a grand slam Glam fix. As per usual, your Glam Mistress will be on tap to give you a comprehensive show review - surly comments and beautiful photos galore.

Steel Panther was recently added to M3 and I must admit I'm most excited to see them! I've seen every other band on the bill (save Keel and SLAMM) so catching Steel Panther is a great boon. I always think of going to L.A. just to attend one of their zany shows, but it hasn't happened yet. While Steel Panther is a bit of a goof, the members are professional musicians and their songs - while hokey - do drip with infectious hooks so sweet your dentist would disapprove.

Need more proof? Here's Steel Panther, "Death to all but Metal." Yeah, Steel Panther are pretty and that's exactly how I like my rockers: good hair and better voices.

How cool is it that Ally and Mr. Ally are now coming to Baltimore/DC for this show!!! Anyone else coming? Should be a great one day festival of 80's Rock...I would argue it may be a better lineup then all of ROK! LOL

Great band - watched em here in Vegas 2 weeks ago. Funny stuff , the crude humor does tend to get a little old after a while - (with the jizz-spurting , pussy-licking and dick-sucking jokes) but I found them VERY entertaining. My wife was a little offended but she's kinda conservative - LOL.

Ill be there It should be a kick ass day, Its cool Steel panther is playing Im a big fan of the singer Ralph he does the BEST David Lee Roth impersonation ever. Also cool when he was in LA Guns I just wish Steel Panther had some serious songs the lyrics get stupid after a while and they pretty much shit all over the music we love and they all wear wigs except Ralph

They were on Z Rock this week, which is the funniest show on right now. Find it on ifc.com if you don't get the channel. The episode also featured Eddie Trunk and Warren Sapp. This is Spinal Tap as a series.

Do people dress up at shows? Like in big hair and spandex?
