Despite Rumors...Steel Panther Is Still Playing M3 This Weekend

Someone on Metal Sludge posted a rumor that Steel Panther was off the M3 bill...but was being replaced by Cinderella. Anyone who knows anything about band placement knows Steel Panther and Cinderella are not an equal swap, but whatever. Some people were really upset by the rumor, so I contacted the publicist for Steel Panther and here's what he just told me:

"Allyson, good news, just got a text from Starr. They are playing and are playing the radio show afterwards. So please put those rumors to rest. Please send back a report if you go."

Of course I'll be doing reports from the field!

At any rate, I hope everyone is ready. It's going to be a whirlwind weekend.

Awesome news....but Steel Panthers set better end by 5pm when KIX goes on or not many people will be watching the end of their set!

The rumor is back and now he is saying Jani lane to the side stage at 7pm, kix moved to 3:30 and cinderella at 5:00pm on the main stage

Man I am PRAYING that Steel Panther plays. Me and friends are driving from Ohio for the show and other than Twisted Sister the main reason I was going was to see them. I love Cinderella and all but ive seen them like 10 times. A Cinderella for Steel Panther swap isnt "even" but its a good way for the venue/promoter to claim they are upgrading the show. I will be sadly dissapointed if this is true. The other rumor is that Steel Panther will be censored if they do play. No jokes about fat girls or coming on chicks' faces, etc. And that they will only be playing covers instead of originals. Like I said, I pray they do play, but a censored set would be lame. Im calling Stevie "Metal Sludge" Rachelle today, I will keep you all updated if he knows anything for sure.
