Get to Know...The Veer Union

The Veer Union is a great new band I learned about because of my gig with Noisecreep. Yesterday, the band introduced their video for "Seasons." The band's debut album is called Against the Grain.

The Veer Union formed in 2004 and is signed to Universal Motown. They've toured with Hinder and Black Stone Cherry and are currently on the road with Halestorm.

I just can't say enough great things about The Veer Union. This is thinking (wo)man's Metal for sure. Great hooks, powerful choruses and some deep topic matter. I hope you like the band as much as me. Let me know your thoughts.

These guys, Halestorm, and Burn Halo played in Dayton, Ohio just last night. I friggin' missed it because I didnt hear about it untill like 8 p.m. and I was at band rehearsal. Nice advertising McGuffy's. Shhesh!

Kenny - I know! I was going to go to that show last night but ended up feeling like crap when 8ish rolled around. You have to seriously just watch McGuffy's website close. I actually knew about the show from going to the Veer Union's Myspace.

I did look at the web site, and I see that Skid Row is playing there in September as well. Hell yeah!

I saw them a few weeks ago with Hinder. Good live band and they have some good songs!
