This Seals the Deal, I'm Going

All weekend, Vh1 Classic showed clips of this year's Download Festival. After watching the show, I went on to YouTube and search for some more footage.

The clips are awesome. The crowd is huge and I'm going next year. I just have to be there. Even the idea of camping at Download doesn't completely repulse me - and trust me, I am not a wilderness girl. Something tells me, though, that camping at Download would be worthy of a lifelong memory.

Here are some clips. I guess I better start saving. Europe ain't cheap but it's going to be worth every penny.

Yeah. I watched it too and it looked amazing. I would of killed to see Faith No More. But did you see Tesla? They sounded like crap.

I swear I almost called you late Friday night as I was watching the Download footage too. It was really late your time though so I didn't call. I said to myself, Next Year, I'm SO THERE! I have airmiles and hotel points through Starwood Properties that I've been saving for a BIG Trip! My only big concern....I"m not sure about the whole European General Admission thing...

I'm going next year! Couldn't afford it this year, but it's basically the only rock festival in Britain. It would be unimaginably awesome if a load of people from BBG came, I would be with people who understand my music tastes for once!
But Download is pretty dodgy, there are some right weirdo's who go, not to put you off or anything.

Do it do it, go to Download! It's pretty damn awesome, had the pleasure of being there this year and I think you would have loved it, especially the Sunday :)

They do offer ticket packages with hotel rooms as part of them too, or staying in these little Myhab things which are kinda like slightly glorified tents so you aren't stuck camping. The info is on the website somewhere, or will be when next year's tickets come on sale at least.

I saw That Metal Show from Donnington special, and it looks so great. It is so much better to have big bands and a big crowd.
