'10C Billionaire' Is a Great Album!

The Bulletboys just released 10c Billionaire (Chavis). The album is packed with really strong tracks. Gotta admit, I was skeptical that the new album would be this strong - but seriously, you should check it out. The Bulletboys put out a press release earlier this week claiming 10c Billionaire was #6 on the Billboard "Top Internet" chart. I personally can't find the Billboard chart history for this album, but hey, what would it prove for the Bulletboys or Chavis Records to lie? Click here to see the Billboard pop out. Is it a Photoshop job?

Check out one of the album's tracks below. "Girls Kissin' Girls."

How odd claiming to have charted on a NON-EXISTANT Billboard Top Internet chart? Billboard has NO such charting, only Download Chart. Oddly enuff if you search the BulletBoys, you get the REAL truth, JACK SHIT.

This song has a Riverboat Gamblers feel and that's not a good thing in my book,

Im not feeling it really. It's a average, good modern rock cd. i dont hear the Glam sound at all. Ill probably still listen to it and it might grow... you never know!

that list is suspect. Both third eye blind and sister hazel are above the BBoys...and no one has cared about either of those bands for years.

i havent heard the cd yet, but i seen them a few months back and marq said they would be opening up for AC/DC on their upcoming tour. i laughed when i heard that. that guy has more BS than a politician.

I really like the album too. Its nice to see a 80's band go with a more modern sound. Kudos to Marq and the REAL Bulletboys for putting out a quality record.

the album is alright but the only thing that is REAL about Mark is that he's a REAL big liar! He always says he's gonna do shows with AC/DC & the Foo Fighters and a few weeks back added Hinder to the list of his imaginary friends...REAL pathetic!!

I saw the Bulletboys on Wednesday night with Faster Pussycat here in Tucson. They put on a great show...great. Marq made the statement that night that 10c was in the top 10...no matter...it was a great show all around!!!

Allyson shouldent you write something about Oasis breakup? I mean they are the most important band in the last 20 years? Just one post about Oasis, it would be nice!

Okay, that's TWO good songs from this album I've heard now! Can't wait to hear the rest. Is this only available online?

If you search the Bulletboys on Billboard, and then check the albums sections, it does list this album - as "This album has never charted". The last chart entry they have for them is 1991, for Freakshow, at #69 on the Top 200 (which is a good position I guess for a glam band, if not necesarily a good chart position, if ya know what I mean)

My experience with Marq was one that saw both sides everyone talks about...he was extremely kind and then showed a dark side, but one thing I will say about the dude..right, wrong or indifferent, he NEVER backed down from his original stance.
I watched an interview on YouTube that he did with GlamMetal.com. From what I saw and heard, he seems to be in a good place albeit a bit out there...I honestly thinks that if he speaks these "untruths" into existence, they will happen. But like my old man always said...You can wish in one hand and shit in the other. I do however find it hard to believe that Brian Johnson EVER put on a BulletBoy cd.

VERY intersting indeed, I'm in toronto and have also heard Torien's hype when he played here with Faster Pussycat...."Watch for us on tour with AC/DC, Foo Fighters, and Hinder!!"
We were thinking WTF!!?? Torien has been mentioning this Foo Fighters thing now since at least March of 2008.
I did a quick internet search and its actually Bill Chavis the CEO of Chavis records who is claiming this #6 position.
Also found more evidence at hollywoodreporter.com (http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/music/charts/index.jsp) who list 6 different music charts -all of them sourced from Billboard.com and one of the 6 charts (Top Net Albums) lists 10c Billionaire at #6! Maybe there is some truth to this?? Or an elaborate hype/scam on behalf of Chavis Records to 'create momentum' in an age where rock is taking the back seat to hip hop and kiddie acts as far as the marketing dollars are concerned.

Dear Jack Shit - if you did your homework correctly, you will find the BulletBoys are #6 located on "Top Internet Sales" at Billboard.biz. Get your facts straight. Where are you charted? This guy has been working for the past 6 years playing shows all around the world and continues to have a lot of love and empathy for everybody he meets. In terms of the new album, it is the best rock n roll album that has been put out by anybody of this genre in the past 20 years! So keep talking everybody, keep talking. :)

Count!

I agree! 10c is a great CD I got mine over the weekend and it totally surprised me. It is a very strong release totally love it and its not the same old rehashed crap so many try to pass off. As for the haters like Count says keep talking. Thats problem with all the haters they put down those that keep on going right wrong or indifferent and people wonder why the genre is dwindling to nothing.
