W.A.S.P. on Rock n' America?

Is W.A.S.P. playing Rock n' America? Well, no one really knows for sure I guess. The band was listed on the Zoo Amphitheatre website -- but now that info is gone. I think W.A.S.P. was even on the official festival website for a little while over the weekend too - but the last time I checked the band was pulled. So, it seems the lineup is a bit influx still. One thing is for sure, many more bands are still to be added. I'm still thinking around 10 acts or so, but it's not clear what sort of "level" these bands will be - but we've already got our headliners, so keep that in mind.

All that said, I'd really love to see W.A.S.P. I never have - they were supposed to play the first Rocklahoma but canceled. So, here's hoping - I'd love to hear "Wild Child" live.

All the Blackie bashers would blame him not playing on some "ego" b.s., but the guy will NOT play without that video screen no matter WHAT. It was probably a HUGE headache for the produces/promoters. Shame if that was the cancellation, I know Blackie loves giving the fans somewhat of a stage show, but he's been around long enough to do it WITHOUT some of the theatrics, fans would still LOVE IT!

did the full list you had previously seen have WASP on it? were they the planned make-up act for Baz's cancellation maybe? not to sound like i'm bitching about Rock N America, because i'm still very excited for it.....BUT so far either from their website or official artists pages, we've had the following acts disappear: Cinderella, Sebastian Bach, Vince Neil, Winger,Bang Tango, and now WASP (there were also strong rumors about Bret Michaels but who knows about that now)...and now in place of those we have THC and Lord Tracy(confirmed via artist website) wow. that hardly seems like a fair trade-off..haha. no offense to the younger unknown bands, but they aren't they reason i spent 300 dollars on VIP tickets. was the original list that you saw maybe just wishful thinking on the promoter's part? the way you worded this post ("we already have our headliners") makes it sound like you aren't very confident in the quality of the remaining additions. just honestly curious. not trying to be jerky or a smart ass.

Here's what I was told - Cinderella is playing (they can't announce until after Rocklahoma) and Vince Neil and Sebastian Bach are not. I have no clue about WASP but they make good sense as a replacement for Bach.

I wouldn't worry Andy. Tons of time until the fest. Many more bands to come.

thats cool...thanks allyson. honestly cinderella is alot bigger addition for me than the other two. i saw vince with the crue last year and the bach situation is what it is (he cancelled on them i guess).
