Vince Neil, Tesla and Drowning Pool Added to Shiprocked

FT. LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (May 6, 2010) – Ready for an epic rock n’ roll vacation? Vince Neil, frontman of multi-platinum rock outfit Mötley Crüe, will make his first return to the high seas since the wildly successful and sold-out 2008 Mötley Cruise. Not to be outdone, California rockers Tesla will once again reprise their role as Shiprocked favorites. ShipRocked sails from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida November 11-14, 2010 and ports at two Bahamas stops: the capital city of Nassau and the private island of CocoCay.

Vince and Tesla will perform alongside already-confirmed Shiprocked bands Cinderella, HAIL!, Broken Teeth, Lynam, Pianotarium, The Letter Black and the Niki Barr Band.

Vince Neil will release Tattoos and Tequila this summer. The covers album will mark his first solo studio release since 1995. While Vince always plays Mötley’s biggest hits including “Wild Side,” “Shout at the Devil” and “Girls Girls Girls,” Shiprocked is a great place for him to debut some choice cuts off his new disc.

The guys in Tesla are hard at work on a new album but that doesn’t mean they don’t have time for a little working vacation. The band played the first Shiprocked in 2009 and rocked the boat with hits like “Hang Tough,” “Love Song” and “What You Give.” Don’t be surprised to see band members at the bar or splashing around the pool after their set.

For fans of hard rock, 2010 is turning out to be a Cinderella story. The band is back and better than ever. Known for hits like “Night Songs” “Shake Me,” “Nobody’s Fool,” singer Tom Keifer, bassist Eric Brittingham, guitarist Jeff LaBar and drummer Fred Coury are ready to party. Supergroup HAIL! (lineup subject to change) gives new meaning to the term “all-star” jam. The group plays a mix of songs from the most iconic metal bands of the last 30 or so years. If you like it heavy, then you’ll like HAIL!

Want one more band? You got it! Drowning Pool will also sail on Shiprocked. Drowning Pool just released their self-titled fourth studio album. The Dallas-based band has toured the world over and played last summer’s Crüe Fest.

Shiprocked once again sails on the MSC Poesia. The Poesia features MSC’s Italian inspired décor, beautiful swimming pools, hot tubs and a full-service spa and fitness center.

So how do you book? Pricing varies by cabin and is subject to availability, but starts at only $499 for an interior stateroom. Other cabin levels available, including balconies and suites. All cabin prices are per person, double occupancy. The prices include your cruise (room and board), all the concerts, meet and greets and other exclusive events during the trip.  For booking and more information, please visit www.getshiprocked.com, or call 877-855-5502.
