Steel Panther, Live, Tonight!

I'm seeing Steel Panther live tonight. The band is headlining the Rock on the Range kick-off party. Rock on the Range is held annually in Columbus, Ohio.

Aw, Christian! What the heck. Have you seen Steel Panther before? Have you seen Danzig?

If you've seen them, you've sparred yourself having to fly all the way to the states to see a bunch of new bands, mostly, who will probably be around for awhile.

Look, Danko Jones is pretty cool and I guess some of the other stuff is, too.

I actually have a fair amount of it on my "Nu Metal" Playlists, but I'm too lazy to name check 'em, crossreferencing them from my iTunes.

My Dear Old Dad (RIP), who liked Green Day and Devo better than Zep or any of the hair stuff, God bless his soul, used to remark about travelling long distances to see a concert or whatever, "Gee, Xxxxxxx, that sure seems like an awfully long way to go for a drink.", hahaha!!!

Save your time and $$$ for a really BIG Metal Show since you just came back for M3, which looked like it was worth every hour and minute you spent getting here for that.

Go for it when it's truly worth it and IMHO, this wasn't (condolences to Al).
