Bang Tango, 'I Like It' - Song Review

The other day Bang Tango released the video for their song "I Like It" from the album Pistol Whipped in the Bible Belt.

The song is really dark and not really what I was expecting, but I think Joe Leste sounds pretty good on this track. The pace makes it an interesting Glam track - there's sort of a mellow groove going on and it is very dark. I think this is good - not every Glam song needs to sound like an over-the-top party anthem. By going dark, Bang Tango shows some depth and I think that's important, even for an established band.

Since Pistol Whipped in the Bible Belt just came out in September, I suspect we'll be seeing Bang Tango at M3 this May.

Hmmm, I dunno, it's not bad. Catchy?...No. Beautifully-sung?...No. But so what. Not a bad song at all, and something out of the ordinary which I think is cool. to be honest, I'm most a fan of the album title.

Its better than I expected. Their last 2 records or so have been pretty awful. This is now the 2nd decent song Ive heard off this one. I need to pick it up ASAP.

Cool. Saw these boyz 3 times back in the day off their first album at joints like The Cat Club and Limelight in NYC, the latter where Slash joined 'em on stage for a couple!

They were killer then and they're killer now, tho I agree, Sleaze, Leste's voice is even more trashed than before, if that's possible. Hey, Rock-it and Blueart -- his voice was always kinda like Idol and Astbury put in a blender -- that's what makes it so cool, even if he duz miss a few notes here and there, hahaha!!! So did those boyz!

These guyz are on The Monsters of Rock Cruise comin' up in February!
