I hope this tour swings around the U.S. again after hitting Europe, because I don't see a single date I can make and basically my entire summer concert season was going to revolve around Aerosmith. To say that I'm disappointed would be an understatement.

Al! How come you can't see 'em in Cleveland on June 16th? I'll check 'em out in Atlanta if I have the bread. But you are probably right. Maybe there will be a second swing through the States as it seems to me their missing quite a few big stops like D.C. for one.

It seems to me they would come back and kick off part two in Florida in late fall since it's still so warm down here at that time.

Any who -- C'mon, it's your favorite band! You sure you can't make Cleveland or Detroit? What if they quit again after this round? Hate to say it, but unless it's conflicting with your Sister's wedding or an unexpected funeral can't think of a reason to miss this one. They're HUGE! Think about it -- of any other Rock and Roll band that might still tour (The Stones?), who's bigger than they are? Better reconsider, I'm tellin' ya.

p.s. Where the h*ll's the new album? Maybe that comes out in time for the second leg or we just not gonna see (or hear) that for awhile?

Plus with renewed interest in the band because of American Idol, I bet they could sell out a night at Madison Square Garden.

July 3 is considered the MD/DC date at Bristow (probably the worst place to get to and get home as far as traffic goes)

Tickets will be outrageously expensive, but luckily they are touring to support their new CD - oh wait...

they've been talking about that new CD for close to 10 years now - it's always "we're finishing it up now and it will be out next <insert season here>"

The new album is supposed to be out in June.

The Cleveland date doesn't work for me because of a work event - same exact problem for Chicago.

There are TONS of obvious cities missing here, including ANY Florida date, Cincinnati, Las Vegas, New Orleans - and yes, a NYC date at Madison Square Garden. I just have to believe more dates will come along.

I see a Saturday July 21st date in good ole Philly that has this guys name written on it.....

And Ally,17 US dates and 1 Canadian? Barring an implosion during this leg, I'd almost stake my tarnished reputation on a 2nd North American leg. There is WAAAAYYY too much money to be made here, and lets face it, even though they are my all time favorite band, that's what this tour is pretty much all about when you get right down to it. ;>)

Shame, I'll be in Dallas for Maiden mid August, I'd have loved to see Aerosmith at the same time.

I'm pretty bummed there are so few dates.....

ALLY, we have to stay hopeful that they will PLAY VEGAS so we can meet up and go!!

CHeap Trick & AERO....DAMN, That's a bill!!!

With ya on that, Kari! What a bill!

Much rather see this tour than Kiss/Crue. Now if only Aerosmith would stop playing sappy ballads such as Crazy and Amazing...

Ticket prices are outrageous!!!I won't be going.

even if they were coming down to san Diego, I wouldn't go. I saw Aerosmith back in the day when they were still good, and weren't a ballad machine, and when concert tickets didn't cost a kidney. cheap trick, on the other hand, are still awesome. I've seen them a crapload of times, and they're not afraid to shake up the setlist night after night. Still, I don't see myself shelling out the bucks for this concert, even with Cheap trick on the bill.

Bob! I, too, saw 'em point blank back in the day when I was a wee lad, first off "Get Your Wings", next off "Toys", then off "Rocks" and though they were, indeed, amazing back then, they were still just as amazing, if not more so, when I saw them at Jones Beach in 2007!

I'm with ya, Snoot -- really could do without "Amazing" and "Crazy" but gotta admit, those songs come off much better live as they Rock 'em out a lot harder than how they sound on record. Plus they totally hammer plenty of Metallic classics of yore, or at least they did when I saw 'em 5 years ago.

They did heavy and plenty loud renditions of "Sweet Emotion", "Draw The Line", "Train Kept A Rollin" and "Rats In The Cellar", among other Hard Rockin' gems.

Here' hopin' the new album ROCKS half as good and they play a couple off of it even better.

Long Live Aerosmith!

And Cheap Trick!
