Metalboy, I know you have all this hate for Tesla for some reason. Its ok though, you can't like them all. For others, like me, Tesla just plain rocks, they did on most of their albums and continue to this day. Very talented band and didn't need an "image" to sell it.

But back to topic on Gypsy Lee, reminds me of Social Distortion for some reason.

Ipod to drive to work song of the morning ~ Everything She Does is Magic by Ra (REMAKE) (glam enough for ya ?)

I am MAJOR fan of the Gypsy Pistoleros, and I respect that Lee is trying to reinvent himself, but I just don't like this new stuff at all. Sorry Lee I really wanted to like it.

Agreed, I loved the GP from the start, but it all went kind of pear shaped pretty quickly

Gypsy Pistoleros ROCK! Don't fix it if it ain't broke, especially if it's the route Lee is taking.

So what if you stay broke as long as you continue to Bring Back Glam!

Bring Back Pistoleros!, Pistolero!

p.s. I don't "HATE" Tesla. In fact I like a few (a VERY few) of their songs. It's just the fact that the bulk of their stuff is plain B-O-R-I-N-G that's the problem!

A Little Redemption: Interestingly, Lee Pistoleros has a cool cover on this new solo album, however...

"Gypsies, Tramps & Thieves"

The song, written by Bob Stone, was originally a U.S. #1 Hit for Cher in 1971. It was also covered by British Punk band, Anti Nowhere League in 1998.

I'll buy the album. Gotta support true rockers! Lee Pistolero ranks up there with Michael Monroe. Plus, who couldn't use another version of GT&T in their catalogue.

side note to MB: I just saw this and wanted to share. Huffington Post said this about my roast master extraordinaire, Gilbert Godfried, ""No comic can match his undeniably savage, unrelenting delivery."

AGREED!

Too bad he lost that Aflac gig, Fletch. That was his bread and butter since he's really not that funny. He is, however unrelenting in his savage delivery. I guess both you and I know that as we carry the torch to Bring Back Glam!
