The Dokken 'Broken Bones' EPK Is Here

The other day, Frontiers Records released the electronic press kit (EPK) for Dokken's new album Broken Bones. The clip has Don Dokken explaining why he chose the phrase "broken bones" as the album's title and also features song excepts. In my opinion, this electronic press kit does the band well. Broken Bones sounds like it has great production. The album comes out September 25.

I stand by my previous comments about Dokken and Eddie Money . . . but this is taking mood lighting (or lack thereof) and soft focus to another level! It looks like a heavy metal version of Elizabeth Taylor's "White Diamonds" commercials.

He needs all the help he can get until he gets the real help he needs to gain his voice and even more importantly, his health, back.

p.s. Great analogy, HIM.

I'm more excited about T&N...

This sounds pretty good unfortunately I think it may be a lot of studio tricks and he won't sound near as good live. T&N just bores me thinking about it. The "originality" of the name fits the material. Re-hashing the stuff one more time. Don;t care who is singing it, just seems weak. Wish they would just concentrate on new material.

I've been a Dokken fan from the beginning. I will buy this, but my days of going to see them live are over.

So, true, Scott! Why is it a genius like Lynch would go with a name like T&N? Surely Talents like he and Pillson could come up with something better!
