New album, tour. The boys are gonna be busy. Dare I say that they are the best regularly touring live band out there from the 1980-1992 glam scene? Yes I do dare say!!!
I should know, I've seen 'em over 30 times and most of their competition more than once, and I can tell you, unequivocally, they are, indeed, THE Best.
p.s. I just wish they'd mix up their set a bit more as they have fallen into the Cinderella/Poison trap of playing the same set (more or less) night after night. I'm sure they will mix it up a bit more by incorporating some of their new songs from their forthcoming album due out soon, but it would also be great to hear long forgotten killers like "Rock And Roll Overdose", "For Shame" and "Luv-o-holic", instead of the tedious "Yeah Yeah Yeah", which has become a de riguer nightly staple currently eating up anywhere from 8 to 11 minutes with Steve Whiteman's "funny once" stand up comedy routine.
New album, new tour. Your wish of a different set can and should come to fruition.
I was especially mildly disappointed last year when I saw 'em at the Pre-Party for The Monsters of Rock Cruise, then perform on the actual cruise and finally at M3. In all three cases the sets were virtually identical, if not EXACTLY the same and were missing "For Shame" and the other two songs I mentioned in my earlier post.
But I say "mildly disappointed" because, what the h*ll, they KIXed a*s like they always do, regardless of how repetitive their set lists can get!
