Y'know... just like his music since 1989?
Why do you see a lawsuit coming? Jon Bon Jovi's dad owns this company!
Personally, I prefer Sambora's Vodka sauce. It has a kick to it.
Anything tasty from the BonJovi camp moved on the moment Richie packed up his backstage porta-bar, picked up his guitar case & bailed out.
Not to pick a fight with an Italian (Ah, who really cares? We can't fight our way out of a paper bag!), but gravy is an East Coast thing . . . perfectly fine regional slang. Same goes for all the varied pronunciations of different dishes and meats (as it does in the Mother Country). But you knew that Fletch, right?
Since I am still in a humorous mood . . .
Q: Why does the new Italian Navy have glass-bottomed boats?
A: So they can see the old Italian Navy!
Tip your waitress.
This could be the greatest jarred "gravy" on the planet (isn't that an oxymoron?) but you'd never know it from this commercial. Even the label sucks.
But if the stuff is decent, I would imagine a portion of the profits, if not all, go to Bon Jovi's various causes.
No matter what I think of Bon Jovi beyond his Desmond Child penned trilogy of hits, I do admire his charitable initiatives.
One sticking point -- I wish the stuff was Organic, not just because that's better for you, but it would fall for in line with his sustainable food programs, etc.
And another thing... I know someone from his family and she always said he's loyal to a fault, so you really gotta wonder what went on with Sambora after all these years. You can say it's all about the money but ya just gotta wonder if there's something more to it than that, considering Sambora's recent issues and legal tassels.
OH, and HIM, I once (as a 11yo squirt and not knowing any better) asked my nonna what mafia family we belonged to and I was "taught" the difference between east coast Italians (Sopranos, Bon Jovi, etc...) and genuine italian immigrants.
Metalboy!, it has to go deeper than any of them have let on, probably past substance abuse and towards financial issues. That is just my guess. One question though: are legal tassels similar to the ones on mortarboards at graduation? I'd like to pick some up.
As he sings: put up or shut up
