The Treatment Debut Video 'I Bleed Rock+Roll'
The Treatment recently released a video to their new song “I Bleed Rock+Roll”. It’s the first single from their upcoming album, and it gives me great hope about the release. As many of you already know, I’ve been a great fan of The Treatment for quite some time now, and they’re probably one of my favorite bands – especially live. Therefore I’m obviously super excited about hearing some new material and I can’t wait for the new album.
The singer Matt Jones simply describes the video as “what The Treatment are all about; in your face, high energy rock’n’roll. We’re back.”
The Cambridge guys released their debut album This Might Hurt in 2011 and have since been touring with Thin Lizzy, Alice Cooper, Steel Panther and both Mötley Crüe and KISS. Not too bad for five guys still in their early twenties. “I Bleed Rock+Roll” is the first single from their upcoming second album, due early next year.
The band is currently on tour with Airbourne in the UK and if you have a chance to catch one of their shows – do it!

Thanks for turning us on to The Treatment, Kim! They are by far one of THE most KICK A*S bands out there today. The video is killer, too! Love the fresh way it's filmed, especially the ending. You've really got me looking forward to this album!
They just played The Paper Box in Brooklyn, NY on October 20th! Dang, sorry I missed that!
I sure wish you could convince all of the great new bands like these guys (we know who they are!) to move to L.A., invade The Strip and then take over the U.S.
That would Bring Back Glam!
Again, thanks for sharing, Kim. \m/
p.s. Wanna know how to make cruises like Sh*trocked! and Monsters of Crock better? Put bands like this on 'em. Crash Diet, Hardcore Superstar, Reckless Love, Dynazty, The Poodles, etc. Now THAT would really get the boat ROCKIN'!
It's plainly not ever going to 'take over the US', given that it sounds EXACTLY like 1986, and there's not enough people who bought music then, and will buy it now. But it would be nice to see them have some success, I absolutely agree that this is good rock music. Apart from Dynazty ( sounds like a KISS cover band ), I own CDs from all the bands you listed, and would see them live, and go on a cruise they were on. I just happen to like heavy metal as well, and I just happen to not be caught in a time warp, I like music from pretty much every era ( not just music made in different eras that all copy one era ).
you cant keep up.
this is rock n roll, ???
Dude, when did I say I don't like Metal, new or old? If it's good, I like it. I don't give a damn what kind of music it is, if it's good, I like it. If it s*cks like most of the shite you like, I don't. It's plain and simple.
Great Rock & Roll, like The Treatment, is timeless. Sevend*st, etc., is sh*te.
You should either renounce your faith and become an atheist like Allyson, or a mere mortal like most of us which will also set you free to criticize others without the weight of truly walking in the footsteps of Jesus.
Since you seem incapable of doing so, you should worship a new God, say Eddie The Head, the clown mascot of that other sh*te band you worship. Now before you get excited, remember, Priest, Saxon, Accept, Megadeth, Marshall Law, Overkill, Diamond Head, Armored Saint, Wrathchild and Raven are all fine examples of what it means to be a truly great ROCKIN' Metal Band.
I'm sure you will say you like all of these bands, but it's the other stuff you tend to gravitate toward that reveals your taste to be just plain UNROCK.
And remember, Christian, before you criticize me, any band or genre of music, to do so, according to your faith, is committing a sin.
I do agree, I like bands that bring nothing new and are a pastiche of the music of two decades ago, but I do like fresh music that's built on and extends on, what I loved in the 80s, more.
p.s. Okay, Chris... Your idea of what it means to be a Christian is ignorant when you are demeaning toward people or bands. True Christians do not act in such a manor. Trade in your Born Again "Holier Than Thou" attitude and get down in the dirt with us "money changers" and you are free to comment any way you want. Until then, just keep on committing sin after sin with every negative comment and act of name calling.
Also thought I should let you all know that their new album, entitled "Running With The Dogs" will be released the 3rd of February next year! Look out world!!
You still have no idea what 'true Christians' are, you're just assuming you know, based on an argument you're trying to pick with me, because I like a broader range of music than you. How sad.
I believe you called me "ignorant", Chris, which calls into question your "Christian Integrity". You also use derogatory terms toward many bands or belittle them if they haven't sold a million records.
It's all in your comments, Psycho! And you're going straight to hell for them, too, based on the teachings of basic Christian faith, your Royal Hiney-ness.
"Judge not and ye shall not be judged" -- Luke 6:37
I can just do my humble best in service to The Metal Gods in hopes I will make it to Rock & Roll Heaven, a place where many of the UNROCK bands you like will never play since they are not Rock & Roll.
As I thought, you have no understanding of Christianity beyond a couple of bible verses taken out of all context. Did Jesus judge the money changers in the temple ? You have no clue. The bible also says a fool is considered wise until he speaks. You know nothing about the Bible, so the best way to appear as if you do, is not to speak about it.....
No-one goes to hell for how they speak to other people, in real life, or on the internet. No-one escapes hell by being a nice person. That's Christianity 101.
I refuse to enter in to an argument over who has a broader taste in music. That's just dumb. The difference is, I don't insult people for liking different things to me. And, the only things I know you DO like, I like too. In the context of this discussion, I like almost all the bands you've ever mentioned AND a ton of other music. If you've been keeping your love of hungarian jazz under your hat, that's hardly my fault for not knowing it, nor would I deride you for liking it, as you have me.
If it is true what The Bible says is true than you are a fool as much as I my friend as you speaketh with forked tongue with nearly every word you utter. And you continuously reinterpret the scriptures to suit YOUR agenda. You ARE being derogatory.
I'm familiar with the parable regarding the money changers, Christian. The Bible is a work of fiction, no doubt, though certainly a very good one. If you chose to take it as reality than make sure you follow it.
The evidence is in your comments and you will forever be damned to walk in the grey shadows of pergatory to the dirges of all the sh*terock you listen to.
p.s. Disciple Chris! Proof again of your hypocrisy: You seem to praise one of your beholden boring sh*terock bands you worship in your recent predictable post for being derivative, yet chastise The Treatment for having strong influences. Praise be to The Metal Gods to drown out your Solierian False Prophets with the trumpets heralding these TRUE Young Gods of Rock & Roll. People, I give you The Treatment! Or rather Kim gave 'em to us around a year ago, which Chris chooses to ignorantly, derisively and incorrectly imply I wasn't aware of. At least I can count on Allyson, Kim and Brian to deliver some REAL Rock & Roll News on here!
