Let It Rawk To Debut In January
I just received this press release and I knew you'd all love it. I bolded a section you'll be really interested in - and let me know if you buy tickets!
The Vegas strip had nothing on the Sunset Strip when it came to rock ‘n’ roll, and a new multi-media show is bringing that experience to the stage in a special sneak preview. LET IT RAWK will debut in the Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 18 at 9pm PST.
LET IT RAWK is a loud, colorful, energetic and interactive experience of the hair metal era on LA’s Sunset Strip. The showroom and stage will be infused with the sights and energy of a legendary rock club. Performed by guys who were there, shaping the scene, the show’s playlist includes the greatest hits from the ‘80s and early ‘90s. From Warrant to Motley Crue the best anthems will be performed in all the glory of the day. And hits from the LET IT RAWK band’s careers are highlights.
The LET IT RAWK band is the real deal. It’s fronted by Black N' Blue and ex-Warrant vocalist Jaime St. James. Guitarist Oz Fox is in the platinum-selling Christian glam rock band, Stryper. Dokken’s Sean McNabb has played bass for other Kings of The Sunset Strip including Great White and Quiet Riot. Drummer Brent Fitz from Slash And The Conspirators will be slamming the skins. Brent has also played for Vince Neil and Alice Cooper. The band will also feature floating members, such as Eddie Ojeda from Twisted Sister and Bullet Boys original drummer Jimmy D’Anda. The anchor of the band is LET IT RAWK’s creator and producer, Stacey Blades.
Stacey’s ten years with L.A. Guns cemented him as a must-watch guitar player, and his final record with the band, HOLLYWOOD FOREVER, earned him critical acclaim for his exceptional fretwork. He left the band last year to pursue his other projects, including LET IT RAWK. "I have been diligently working on this project since last March, and am super stoked to be sharing the stage with such awesome guys and talented musicians. The show will be playing a few times a month here in Vegas and then be doing casino shows nationally, LET IT RAWK! See you out there!"
LET IT RAWK debuts in the Chrome Showroom at Santa Fe Station and Casino, 4949 North Rancho Drive, Las Vegas, on Saturday, January 18 at 9pm PST. General admission tickets are $21. VIP meet-and-greet upgrades will be available soon. Tickets available now.

Some other comments - never did like the term Hair metal - infact i despise it.
Wont ever pay a meet and greet upgrade either.
Will wait and see if any clips come on youtube.
I'm sure they'll do fine. All the players have some sort of track record.
P.S Red6ixx
I hate the term hair metal as well.
And he forms a fuckin cover band....
I dont get it....
Also, I really hate the term hair metal.
Too bad Jaime St. James blows. I'm sure the setlist will be pretty cool though.
This show and all the other cover band gigs are for gettin' drunk to and little else. These guys are gonna be pros at it like all the others who venture into this territory. Hey, if it keeps Rock & Roll alive with the neophytes when they venture to Vegas, what the h*ll, I say go for it.
Now, as for HAIR METAL...
Like it or not, it does define a certain type of music. True, a lot of people have used it negatively like clueless agendafied a*s clown, Sam Dunn, (and Christian) but, as you well know, I use the term affectionately and often.
Just type it into your computer, see the results, millions of them, mostly positive about our favorite bands. It cuts a wider swath than strictly using the term "Glam Metal" or "Metal".
As for Blades and LET IT RAWK... Hey, man, it's a living and maybe more lucrative than what Phil Lewis was payin' him.
Besides, Kenny, he's probably doing his other project(s) on the side. And I think Bobby might be right about Slaughter. Thing is Slaughter probably wouldn't take the gig.
Also, I heard Slaughter actually got his voice back, Kenny. I will confirm this on The Monsters of Rock Cruise in March 2014.
And I agree, Kevon! I was on MORC this year and not only did Black n' Blue kick a*s, St. James IS a nice guy and so are the band AND their chicks! I had several drinks and conversations with them and St. James in particular. Yeah, he ain't no Slaughter or even half of one as Bobby eludes to, but he got a decent voice and still ROCKS with total conviction and passion!
Now, THAT'S what I call HAIR METAL and I mean it in a good way!
p.s. So, just to clarify, once again, even though you view the term "HAIR METAL" in a derogatory way, when I use it, realize, it's a positive. Even if you personally don't like it. HAIR METAL! Wear it proud! Play it LOUD! \m/
I've read way too many articles where clueless people refer to it as hair metal and they always throw jabs at the music.
It's very hard for me to take anybody seriously if they call it hair metal. It's a very insulting label to the genre. It's very disrespectful to the music.
To use "Hair Metal" as a description for a type of music like "Glam Metal, Sleaze Metal, Power Metal, Pop Metal, just plain Metal, etc., etc., is stock and trade in the CD collector world, the world I primarily inhabit. There it is not a derogatory, term, I assure you.
It defines a particular genre, which in the case of certain CDs, identifies a category of rare CDs which trade in the hundreds, in some cases, for thousands.
See ya in Hair Metal Hell, Bro!
You've got to be joking Metalboy!. You can't really be serious. That is a very derogatory term. People who use that term are very suspect. I've gotten tons of rare CD's thru people and I've never encountered anybody who oddly proudly proclaimed it to mean something positive. It's not a genre, it's a blanket term for all 80's metal that people don't understand. Hair metal is a term that was $hitted on to these bands by douche bag hipsters 10 years after the fact. You might as well take a dump all over your "favorite" CD's because people who think the term hair metal is cool don't really give a crap about the bands. Maybe you really do, I don't know you personally but calling it hair metal is a very dismissive term.
p.s. I just typed in "Hair Metal" on Ebay and 806 Results came up of some of THE Greatest Rock & Roll ever created.
That's just the vibe I get from people that think hair metal is a style of music. I never use the term hair metal. I have too much respect for the music I love. I don't even use it for bands I don't like. Hair is not a genre of metal. Hair has nothing to do with the music bands write.
I'm loving all the comments about the gayness of calling it hair metal.
The phrase alone just sounds so silly.
I cringe just typing it.
