Have You Heard the New Buckcherry Yet?

The new Buckcherry album, Confessions, is streaming in its entirety over at Noisecreep. I gave the album a listen and immediately thought "Yep, that's Buckcherry." By that I mean Confessions has everything you expect from Buckcherry: sleazy guitar solos, swearing and catchy hooks.

From what I've read, people are referring to Confessions as a concept album because each track relates back to one of the Seven Deadly Sins. Again, sounds like a Buckcherry album to me!

The first single is "Gluttony."

You can buy Confessions now on iTunes or Amazon (where the album is just $5). Buckcherry are currently on tour. They'll be at Rock on the Range in May.

Josh Todd said the album is "theme" album, but not necessarily a "concept" album. I didn't really dig the last two albums, but I'm gonna give this one a fair shot. Always a great live band as well.

gave the album 2 spins so far, all i can say is "wow." This album surpasses their last 2 efforts by leaps and bounds. Gone are the clean proper lyrics of all night long and also gone is the watered down dare i say Nickelbashish tunes from black butterfly. The album rocks from start to finish. Raspy vocals, killer guitars, pounding drums and a sweet as candy rhythm throughout each and every track. Granted their are a few slow numbers, the most "skippable" being the last track, but BC is known for Sorry and The Truth may be just the perfect substitute. Wrath, Lust, nothing left but tears, Air, all have killer choruses and catchy lyrics. I can't recommend this album enough. Anyone that appreciate modern day "glam" with a kick of "sleaze" need to pick this album up today and support one of the few bands around from this country that still hold that flag up high. BC is one hard working band, theres no doubt about that, and this album truly shows BC's true colors.
