Possible Motley Crue Tour Ad Leaks

Eddie Trunk tweeted out the above ad the other day (he has since deleted that tweet). The validity of the ad can't be confirmed, but if this really is the Motley Crue farewell ad mat, we know two things: one, that Dodge is sponsoring the tour and two, Alice Cooper is the opening act. Alice makes a ton of sense and would be a huge boon to the tour. We all know the guys in Motley cite Alice as a major influence. Having him along for the ride would be huge. Now I'm even more excited for this tour! We'll know if Alice is on board January 28th when Motley make their official farewell tour announcement.

Also, if Dodge really is the tour sponsor, I suspect we'll hear some classic Crue in a Dodge ad during the Super Bowl.

As for solo stuff. Sixx is so creative so he will always have something, Vince will do his thing, it's okay, Tommy's solo stuff I could care more about, cos I've never liked it that much, and Mich will continue to do what he does in the studio with other bands. His stuff he played with James Durbin, Murderdolls, and Papa Roach is freakin killer. I hope he does a solo record because it would kick so much ass. Long live Mick Mars!

I would be all for solo albums from every band member except Tommy.

I love Vince's 2 solo CD's & his live CD as well as his covers CD. To me his solo stuff is a million times better than "New Tattoo" & "Saints Of Los Angeles".

Nikki is very creative but it hasn't for me at least resulted in any good music outside of Motley. I can't stand Sixx A.M. Brides Of Destruction was OK & 58 was just awful, although I do love "Song To Slit Your Wrist By". I would actually prefer it it Nikki did the singing himself. I love the song "Father" he did on the 'Quarternary' EP.

A solo Mick CD will only really be as good as the singer who is on it(I love Slash but Miles "Yawn" Kennedy puts me to sleep). If Mick does a all instrumental CD I will be really disappointed. Most instrumentals bore me to death, although I love Micks song "Bittersuite" from the 'Quarternary' EP.
