AC/DC Announce New Album

Here's some big news: AC/DC will release a new album on December 2. The album will be called Rock or Bust. The other big news is that rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young isn't part of the band anymore due to illness. Malcolm's nephew Stevie will fill his role on the album.

Rock or Bust was recorded last spring. The album's first single is "Play Ball" and it will be shared on Turner Sports as part of Major League Baseball's postseason. Here's a teaser of "Play Ball." What do you think?

Without hearing a single note, I bet you are right, Snoot!

Still sounds like AC/DC. Sad that Malcolm isn't well enough to participate.

Very sad about Malcolm. Hence my kinda "whatever" feelings re: new tunes.

Acdc is the ultimate rock n roll band. They needn't prove a damn thing. BJ is class and super nice. Both versions of band totally classic and special.

So sad it's all slowing down

Agree with all comments, we're all getting old and paying for all the fun we had in the 70's through 80's, some 90's, maybe a little in the millennium.

Peace all!

They're the definitive rock band. It'll be a cool record. It sucks that Malcolm can't do it though.

Love love love AC/DC. Loved the Bon era, pretty much all the Brian Johnson era(even blow up, flick, & sul), but im not very impressed with this song. Sounds too bland and generic for my taste(fyi im a diehard baseball fan). Hopefully Malcolm no longer being able to be part of the writing process hasnt wrecked the formula. I hope Snoot is right, if its at least as good as Black Ice & Ballbreaker, it has a shot!

Along with Aerosmith,my all time Favorite. Played along on guitar with every song on every album constantly growing up! Just straight up,kick ass rock. Two of the best shows I ever saw were the Back In Black & For Those About To Rock tours. So much energy and so tight as a band. I really would like to catch these guys once more on this tour,as I don't think they've got many more in them. They've got more money than God,and are getting up there. I too read that Malcolm has dementia that bad they had to institutionalize him,as he could meet you and two minutes later not know you. So sad. He was that bands QB.....

God Bless Malcolm!

Though naming their latest release "Rock Or Bust" is a bit ironic, considering these guys are worth a $100 million plus a piece, I'm still can't wait to hear it, even if BK is right about this particular song.

And, BK, if it's as good as "Black Ice", that will be worth a listen. If it's as good or better than "Ballbreaker", THAT would be something REALLY worth listening to, as in glueing into the CD Player! "Ballbreaker" is one of my absolute favorite AC/DC songs nearly up there with "Problem Child" and "Let There Be Rock"!

Here's hoping, with the release of "Rock Or Bust", this Holiday Season is a REAL Rocker and not a bland one!
