Helix Release Video For 'Even Jesus (Wasn't Loved In His Hometown)'

Helix have a new album called Bastard of the Blues. One of the album singles is "Even Jesus (Wasn't Loved In His Hometown)." I compliment the band for releasing an actual video instead of just a lyric treatment. What do you think?

They don't tour much in USA cuz it's tough getting proper visa paperwork. Lead singer bit bitter about missing out on the possible income.
"Heavy Metal Love" is Helix's iconic masterpiece.
p.s. One thing you gotta hand Brian Vollmer -- He is the REAL deal, one of THE Ugliest Guys In Rock & Roll, even more so than Lemmy and equally unrelenting after all these years.
I'm not big on ballads typically but their Deep Cuts The Knife is a haunting masterpiece as well. Gorgeous song.
Kudos always to my Canadian boys :)
As for Accept? "Metal Heart"... My Favorite METAL Album of ALL Time!
Wish I had seen 'em in '85, when it came out. Do you recall if you saw 'em before or after it was released and did they play stuff off of that album, like their magnum opus, "Midnight Mover"?
Never did see Helix, but can you believe I saw Steeler back in '82, one of only 8 shows they played!
Do wish I caught Helix, needless to say. Coulda seen 'em on The Monsters of Rock Cruise this year but I slept through them and about a half dozen of the other acts I wish I saw. Maybe next year!

Like Kix & AC/DC, Helix are a good "meat & potatoes" band that consistently deliver "Walkin' the Razor's Edge" , "No Rest For The Wicked" & "Long Way To Heaven" were all great albums.
Saw them play a small ballroom at (what was then called) The Outlaw Inn in Kalispell, Mont., back in the late 80s. Vollmer did these highly entertaining "jump and rolls" off the stacks on this incredibly crowded stage. He was wearing his pin-up adorned denim jacket.
Still remember first hearing "Heavy Metal Love" and seeing the video for "Rock You" back in the day. Listen to both songs still.
Except for the fact that there's quite a bit more meat to chew on when it comes to AC/DC.
The rest we are discussing, even my beloved, Accept, do not hold a candle to AC/DC, especially Helix, though I still love their stuff.
There's just different levels of love, particularly when it comes to Rock & Roll!
p.s. Oh, Badland, what I wouldn't have given to see Accept off "Metal Heart", THE Greatest 80's Metal Album ever made! ALL Killer, NO Filler, not a dud on it!
