KIX, 'Wheels In Motion' -- New Video

KIX released Rock Your Face Off last year. Now one of my favorite bands is marking the start of 2015 with a brand new video for the track "Wheels In Motion." Love it. We've waited a really long time for this!

Anyone ever notice the uncanny similarity between this song & Def Leppard's "Bad Actress" from "Sparkle Lounge"?

Either way, seeing Kix Saturday in Vegas... w/ Vixen

Will check that out Ace. Don't know that Def song.

Wish Kix would do a full blown tour. This song is one of my favs from new album. Glad the boys agree it's one of the strongest.

Best (one of the) live bands. One of a few from our genre still legit live. Think about it.

The Alrosa Villa in Columbus, Ohio, put a poll on its website last month, asking people if they want Kix to play there and then the club pulled the plug on the poll just a few days later and ended up not booking the show. Kix can't tour if these clubs only want to bring in hip hop and death metal bands. You can't tell me those are sell out shows. I hope another club in Ohio has the balls to book these guys.

They will, Dustin. And though they pass for legit, Kixchix, what would make them really legit is the sorely missing original bassist, Donnie Purnell, who wrote all the hits.

Unfortunately, the chance of his return is less likely than you or I winning the Powerball with Powerplay.

Ace is correct. Defintely a Bad Actress vibe, which is one of the best songs on the Sparkle Lounge album.

Good thing they both rock. While definitely rolling...

Bummer about the Alrosa show. I didn't know about that. Rick Cautela asked me a few years back if he should book Mr. Big, to which I told him absolutely. When he finally did book them, the place was sold out. I have no doubt that Kix would have the same result. I only saw Kix once in 1990, opening for Whitesnake, so I've been dying to see them headline.
