Motley Crue Will Make A Big Announcement Today

Here's the info of the Motley announcement:

I'll update when Motley breaks the news - whatever it is.

Reader Comments (39)

Yes, bkallday, I do tend to be long-winded (and admitted as much on several occasions). Yes, my lobs sometimes fall flat.

But please try and answer a question or two when they are directed at you. And avoid suggesting you deal in facts when, as any casual reader can see, in post after post, that you deal--like almost all of us--in opinions that you hold dear.

Again, you can't simply ignore what people say so as to have your way. Or, in your case, I guess you simply can.

Gary! Thanks! I'm going to order this on Amazon!

HIM & BK! It's best to deal in Opinions based on Fact. Needless to say, not exactly my stock and trade, but at least we should all aim for expressing "informed opinions".

And BK, as I said before... I gave ya the facts and one is captured on videotape of Neil berating the parking attendants!

There was some proof on Jimmy Fallon last night. Not sure what kind tho lol. Look like Vince came straight from his other job at the funeral home.

If BK wants to refer to beautiful women as tail, that's his choice. I couldn't care less about his vocabulary, or lack there of.

What was actually offensive to me was his initial view that the reason people hated on Vince was because they were jealous of his many attractive conquests/wives, etc. As so many other posters subsequently commented, there are other reasons why Vince rubs people the wrong way.

And I think he needs to understand that not all "women" are "feminists". If I was really such a "feminist", I hardly think that I would choose Steel Panther as my current favorite group. And I'm pretty sure a feminist would have been offended when Michael Starr motioned for me to go backstage and "j*rk him off", unlike myself who has a sense of humour and gets the joke.

Gee, Steel Panther doesn't seem too policitically correct to me but hey, what do I know? I'm just a woman.

Ok, yall win, noone hates Vince because theyre jealous. They all have legit reasons, its just that as of yet, noone has named any real ones. I cant wait to get me some tail ltr! Im sure Rita remembers the last time she got some, that one time in the 80's.

BK - You are such a riot.

I hope, for your sake, you have a really big d*ck because your personality sucks and you obviously have no brain.

Waste of skin.
January 23, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterRita
Lucky for me, i do. Btw, how was Nixon in bed?
January 23, 2015 | Unregistered Commenterbkallday
You tell me BK.

Other than killing Razzle, the multitude of DUI's,and the battery/Domestic abuse charges back in 2011,Vince is just a peachy kind of guy. Doesn't take Lieutenant Columbo to see that everyone of these charges has a common thread, booze. You would think he'd catch on after a while? I'm sure sober he's a cool guy. I'd even bet on it. I know he's done a Helluva lot of good things for families whose kids have cancer with his Skylar foundation.Huge props for that. But some people shouldn't drink. Vince looks to be one of them. Like I always say about these types,"instant asshole, just add alcohol"

"Oththan killing Razzle, the multitude of DUI's,and the battery/Domestic abuse charges back in 2011,Vince is just a peachy kind of guy."

Yeah, i mentioned all of those except the domestic abuse stuff(i dont always believe broads in these types of cases, btw. These days they like to get up in a guys grill and act tough, until rubber meets road, then they yell for po po). And disliking him over the whole Razzle and dui charges just seems like weak sauce to me, since they were accidental but to each their own, i guess. Some ppl can find any reason at all to dislike someone, especially those that are much more successful than they are. For example, lets say one of your fam was dui, and had an accident which killed someone. Would it be logical for me to hate them for it? Of course not...but carry on.
January 23, 2015 | Unregistered Commenterbkallday
Btw, i know dui's arent accidental, but killing someone in that situation, is. Btw, do you also hate the jackass dude, that died and killed his passenger, in an accident while dui? Just curious. And yes, i know Vince has had a few dui's in the 40 yrs since then. Rather than despise him for that, i choose to hope that he's finally learned a lesson and cleaned up his act. To each their own, however.
January 23, 2015 | Unregistered Commenterbkallday
Dude, he does act like a d*ck quite frequently, thinkin' he's God's gift to the earth. That tells me he hasn't learned anything.

Still there's always hope. Last night on Fallon, Neil sure made us feel like there is.

Oh, on "Po Po", very funny, however be nice to Rita, my one true Metal Love!

Thanks Metalboy! :)

Dude I'm certainly not going to argue with you about the singer in a band I like that I've never met. (I personally could give a flying fuck).I certainly don't hate him. It's his life, and I don't have to live with his conscience for whatever he does. It just bothers me when people don't learn from their mistakes, especially when impressionable people (teens)tend to idolize them. (Same reason I haven't a lot of use for about 75% of pro athletes and Hollywood heavyweights) I get it.I was no saint. I injested enough illegal substances back in the day to keep the economy of Columbia humming right along quite nicely. Its cool to party.Just don't hurt others in the process. As for the "broad" he cuffed around, she had visible black and blue marks where he was "putting rubber onto the road". As the father of 2 daughters, both their boyfriends are quite aware that if they ever lay a hand on them, I Will be going to jail when all is said and done. I don't give a fuck how much a woman pushes your buttons, there's no reason on earth to hit her.Im married 26 years.Theres been thousands of times I wanted to lay the smack down on my wife. But I've never once hit her or any woman.(even with a temper that had me arrested twice for fighting over the years. Lol)

Like you said,to each his own. We're all huge Crüe fans, and as a man way cooler than myself once said,"I know,Its Only Rock And Roll And I Like It" 😎

Agreed, Metalboy! Opinions based in fact are a great basis for a discussion. But one shouldn't assert the latter while ignoring that their stock and trade is the former, lest you run into all sorts of doubtful cause fallacies or, simply revert to whatever suits you at a given moment. But we agree. Certainly we do (and see below).

Rita, your first response on this page was priceless! It made me smile. That said, "feminism" is a very slippery word, bent this way and that by any number of people. I know a few self-described feminists who get the joke and can laugh right alongside SP and their antics. They get the irony. The great thing is that your response elicited nothing more than a series of ad hominems from bkallday. Like I said, I had no need or desire to defend you . . . you are quite capable of handling misplaced rage! Rock on Rita.
January 25, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterHim
HIM,first of all, thank you. I appreciate the support.

Secondly, as usual, you raise some very good points. If you would describe a feminist as someone who believes men and women should be entitled to the same education, paid equally for equal work, treated with the same level of respect, capable of the same accomplishments, and that relationships should carry an equal amount of responsibility, than I am definitely a feminist. So feminist and Steel Panther fans are by no means mutually exclusive terms.

I just don't appreciate people jumping to conclusions about who I am and what I think because I'm a woman.

And I agree about what you said, people should not pretend that their arguments are fact based, when they are obviously opinions. Perhaps the identification of that distinction is above their cognitive capabilities. Or maybe not.

Rock on, my metal friend.
January 25, 2015 | Unregistered CommenterRita
Not sure if you will see this, but . . .

See, Rita? No need for me to step in and throw some out of date coat over the mud puddle for you!

By your explanation and my way of thinking, you are a feminist. And most people, if given a chance to really think about it, would ascribe to the description you provided.

Those that wouldn't, or would throw the term around like a scare-tactic (and that applies to those who say they don't like feminists and also, paradoxically, to some who claim to be feminists)? Well, best they be left to themselves. The world is just passing them by.

Final thought: most of what we do here is opinion-based. As much as Metalboy! is right to hanker for those opinions based in fact (I certainly do), it is equally the case that an opinion offered in good humor, with well-intentioned direction, will get you more than one that is mean-spirited, naive, or reactionary (even, I might add, when you or I believe it to be wrong-headed). Poppins (or was it Def Leppard?) was right: a spoon full of sugar . . .

All the best, Rita.
