Buckcherry Releases New Song, Video

Buckcherry will release their new album Rock n' Roll next month. One of the tracks is "The Madness" and now there's an official video as well. I'm on the fence about this one a little bit. I'm a big Buckcherry fan, but the first few seconds of "The Madness" seemed grungy to me, to the point where I honestly got a little freaked out that Buckcherry was changing their sound or something. In the end, I think this new album will probably be a strong effort for the band. Buckcherry songs always remind me of summer.

Their albums have been either hit or miss for me. I really like this though. I hope this album is just as good.

Nothing to really write home about except the guitar solo.

The guitar solo is cool. The main riff is also pretty sweet. What kills the whole thing is the boring vocal melody over the riff, and the really boring chorus. This could have been a great rock 'n' roll song if it weren't for those things. And, Dj, I'm with ya. I don't think they've ever topped their first album.
