Pro-Shot Video Of KISS, 'Love 'Em Leave 'Em'

KISS did an acoustic show a couple nights ago in California. Now pro-shot footage of the acoustic gig is popping up online. Good stuff.

I went when they did this last year to kick off their Arena Football team.
It really proves that "the song is the thing" & they don't need the bombs & explosions , or the makeup & costumes to be a kickass band. I prefer 'em with all that stuff, but they are a great act, even stripped down to acoustic guitars & a bare light bulb.

Wish the full-on KISS shows had as eclectic a set list as the acoustic one's do !

FYI - one video camera on a tripod is definitely not "pro shot"

Wow, the slower tempo, the slightly dropped tuning, and the lack of grit in Gene's voice makes them sound really old in this clip. It's a shame because "Love 'Em Leave 'Em" is one of my very favorite KISS songs of all time. I know I'm in the minority, but I found the "Destroyer" album to be way over-produced and kind of pompous. That's why I was so glad to hear them get back to their stripped-down sound on "Rock and Roll Over."

Bob, RARO is my personal favorite KISS record. That, & the first 2.

Wow, that was depressing.

Boyz, don't get me wrong, I LOVE "Rock and Roll Over", but it's all about "Destroyer" for me in "Detroit Rock City" alone!
