Oh, man... THAT is TOTALLY hilarious! I don't even know where to begin. I'm glad that blonde came all that way to drop him off a lifetime supply of scarves!

True, True, Mister Ripper!

And, while I don't agree completely with you, BK, Tyler may be helping his bank account but certainly not his Rock'n' Roll Reputation!

For whatever reason, that screen-capture for this story makes me think that Tyler "has the vapors."

It all feels so affected and packaged. When I am willing to say that Darius Rucker has more cred with genre, that is saying something (what, I am not entirely sure). By nob-gobbling the most current trend he can think of, and in the process doing a disservice to the genre from which he plucks, he risks alienating not one, but two, audiences. Where is the logic in that, I ask rhetorically, while gently sipping on Joey Kramer's Rockin' & Roastin' Coffee (Sumatra Whole Blend for me!) and dribbling Joe Perry's Rock Your World Boneyard Brew Hot Sauce on my certified organic eggs. My scent this early morn? While it isn't topical, I will oblige. Metal for Men by the savvy scent-shredder K. K. Downing.

Brand extension is about nuance. Why are so many rock and metal codgers using dull knives in an attempt to carve out new markets? It might not be popular, but I think Plant leads the way in gracefully going in other directions while not tarnishing the bona fides which give him license to do so. He does the same by negation, in choosing what not to do in the twilight of his career.
