Slash Announces 'The Hell Within' Crowd Funding

Slash is producing a scary movie of sorts called The Hell Within. It's a Fan Backed project, meaning you can bid money and help get the project off the ground. One of the items up for bid is a lifetime backstage pass for all Slash shows in your city.

This campaign is different because Slash is asking for more than money. He is searching out talent and also looking for critiques of the film and story as each bit is posted online. Click the link in the tweet below to read more.

A little info about the movie:

I would normally support something like this, but I think the royalties from Appetite For Destruction alone is enough to fund the movie...

I'm thinking Mr. Hudson will make enough to fund half of Hollywood just from the inevitable upcoming G&R reunion world tour that'll most likely follow the Austrailian date they're supposed to do?

I kind of think a guy like Slash, who's sold over 100 million records, can afford to pay for his own hobbies.

This bullshit has to stop. Really? C'mon Slash. You are filthy effin rich. Quit asking others for money to fund your vanity project. This is much worse than a poor band like Anvil asking their fans to chip in for a new LP. However, I completely disagree with ALL of these "fund me" campaigns.

That being said, my mortgage is due on September 15th. I've started a fund-raising drive to make that paymet. Please send all pledges directly to me. For your contribution, you will receive my sincerest gratitude publicly, while I laugh about you privately for being such a complete idiot.

This proves once again Slash is as big an idiot as Axl. Some of the other major examples of his stupidity was hiring Mild Kantrocky as singer and then unecessarily giving him top billing in the band name.

However, all will be forgiven when they reunite with Izzy, Duff and Stephen to save Rock & Roll as we know it! I'm there!

And that would be the last thing I'd want is a lifelong pass to Smiles Kendolly & The Conartists featuring Slash. Maybe Slash calculatedly put forth such a generous prize knowing full well it will only be redeemed just a handful of times as this is actually their final tour before he reforms G'n'R with Rose.
