Guns n' Roses Tickets On Sale Saturday

Guns n' Roses tickets go on sale Saturday for the band's concerts in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9. Who's in? I'm going. Well, I should say I'm at least going to try for tickets. I'll let you know how it all pans out. If you're coming to one of these shows, post in the comments. I'm trying for the Saturday night show first!

Welcome to 3 Parts of the Jungle, we got Ferrer and Fortus. Doesn't have the same ring to it.

I kid. I hope you get those tickets Allyson. And I hope you get a press pass as well. I would love to see your take on the reunion show and the new venue (which I only saw the partially completed shell of in November).

I am going to be interested to see how all this plays out. At the very least, this is going to do big numbers for click traffic on a variety of sites (this one included).

I wouldn't bother to walk across the street to see this.

Ace: more details? Spill your thoughts. Did you catch them on their Vegas residency?

Actually, any thoughts are appreciated Ace. You must have some stories to share about GnR.

I, however, will most likely fly across the country to see this!

I can't believe you aren't going as they're playing in your own back yard. What gives?

p.s. Got my buddy in the biz angling for tickets but we'll see what he comes up with. I heard from someone in the know, G n' R are already reserving Stadiums for the Summer. So it won't kill me if he doesn't come through, though there is a chance that theory could blow up in my face when we apply the Axl factor.

Interesting Vince always gets everyone's hate for his diminished vocals yet Axl gets everyone's love. Last I heard him sing, he was terrible. No interest to me. Seen them on top, no need for this monstrosity.

I'm definitely gonna try for the first night. But on the other hand, even if it is a semi reunion, tickets will go fast. I'm not gonna shell out hundreds of dollars per ticket if it is gonna be a 90s repeat. I won't bother with the second-hand ticket market either, I learned my lesson the hard way. But, I hope to see this show.

I am 100% with you Ace.

JAT, Too bad Neil and Axl aren't Metalbros, then you could hear a duet of those two, Neil sounding like Alvin of Little Alvin & The Chimpmunks and Axl sound like your Grandmother screaming at you!

Seriously, though, I don't care what anyone says about the shape of Axl's voice, including myself. In all reality, his voice doesn't seem that shot. I mean, when did it ever NOT sound shot?

I heard a rumor Stradlin has agreed to these shows but really has no interest in touring. Still no word on Sorum and/or Adler. I kinda wish they would let Adler back, just because it would be so healing for him. I know, Ace says Adler is a trainwreck of a drummer, but maybe that's partly what made that classic line up sound so cool, like everything was about to fall apart.

One thing's for sure, whatever line-up they settle on, Gn'R are gonna ROCK hard!

Said it before Been there Done that. Wasnt that great back in the day just another concert passing thru town back then. Funny to watch all the fools willing to pay to see a cover band. Lets bring in this guy or that guy. Hell might as well bring in Buckethead and Bumble foot too. Maybe Vivian is available. Im sure it will do well but like this and all other bands they will never be or sound the same ever again. Seeing these bands today ruins the memories of all the killer concerts ive been to with original members. One or two guys here and there in a band or two bands using the same name its a shame.

Here's betting you it will sound just about the same as back in the day, even with Axl's voice a tad more shot. It's called chemistry and I'm willing to bet they will have it.

I just realized something... And I'm sure I'm not the first one on here or out there to have this epiphany...

Strategically, this reunion couldn't have been better timed...

With the conclusion of Motlëy Crüe's "All Bad Things Must Come To An End" Tour coming to a conclusion and that band FINALLY forever exiting the stage and departing the major venue concert scene, Guns n' Roses will be filling the void left by the Crüe.

Coincidence? I don't think so... Get ready to ROCK! \m/

'eh, saw 'em in NY in '87 when they at least acted like a real band and there seemed to be some camaraderie. This seems like nothing more than a cash grab and a pretty boring one at that. At least Van Halen made it seem they were getting along when the reunion came up, these guys have made the "reunion" about as interesting as a corporate merger press release.

Well, let's see and, more importantly, hear them before we jump to any conclusions.

Personally, I think they're gonna kick ass.

In the words of Joe Perry, "Let The Music Do The Talking"!

JAT, what were your favorite shows of theirs from back in the day? Just curious.

I have never thought of Axl as a superb singer. More of a vocalist. And, as he has aged, he has gotten more hit or miss (even in the same show, if that 02 concert DVD is to be believed . . . and it certainly didn't sound over-dubbed). I feel lucky that he was "on" that night I saw him in Vegas. Then again, some people who saw that show heard it differently. So who knows?

GNR pinnacle was Live at The Ritz (imo). I did see em with Met in 92, cant say i remember much except Met kicking all our a**es!!!

Count me in on this. ROCK AIN'T DEAD 2016. Bring It!!! RnFnRoll

Axl has gotten bad over the years, but he never really was a fantastic type of singer. His voice was unique and different, that's what made it, he didn't have to be good. But you can't deny he was and still is a hell of a frontmqn/preformer.

I saw all three shows at The Ritz, Kari, including both warm-up shows with Stradlin and Sorum for the "Use Your Illusion" Tour before Stradlin called it quits.

p.s. I heard from a very good source Stradlin will play these first few dates but doesn't like touring, so he'll bow out for any shows thereafter.

HIM, I saw them open for Alice Cooper and they were great. They were really good on that co-headlining stadium tour with Metallica.

Appreciate the reply, JAT. And I have to say that I envy some of you for the gigs you have seen.

Though the BBG! family is a relatively small one, the combined might of our histories and experiences always amazes me.

Saw Axel"s G and R in A. C. a couple of years ago. He sounded like dog shit! Then ran into him at a steak house. What a TOOL. He gave the staff a hard time " You do know WHO IAM" when he had to wait a minute! Then screamed when he was seated a little to close to the nobodies of the world! While he was acting like a prince Ripper caught his eye and smirked at the TOOL and he looked away. One word to Ripper and the Thunder would have been brought down upon him!!!!

For all those "in the know"....2 kits, 3 drummers, full on reunion in Vegas is definite. Time will tell if one of the drummers falls of the wagon it ends it all for drummer 2. Drummer 3 is on call and YES they are who you think. Izzy will be showing up at shows of his leisure throughout the tour. there are also 2 keyboardist as usual...the "izzy" replacement is in the "current" version, however they are in talks of bringing in a UYI guitar player. Roll the bones baby!
