Skid Row Reunion Inches Closer?
Saturday night, Sebastian Bach was joined onstage by original Skid Row drummer Rob Affuso for a show in Poughkeepsie, New York. The band banged out "Rattlesnake Shake" and then Sebastian went on a little rant about how five guys are the real Skid Row, including Affuso and himself. I don't want to get ahead of myself - Affuso joined Sebastian on stage back in 2011 as well (also in Poughkeepsie).
Still, it seems like the ice continues to thaw a little on the Skid Row reunion tour rumors... and remember, Guns n' Roses will likely tour again next year. A reunited Skid Row makes perfect sense as an opener.

In other news, John Paul Jones is still sitting by his phone, listening to "Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar" on his Walkman.
I guesss the defining difference between that and this situation is AXL had the leverage with rights to the name whereas Baz doesn't have a leg to stand on.
Cross-apply his latest round of macho: picking a fight with Sweet. Yes, I think he has a right to be angry at what Sweet said. But, really? That is your go-to? And even when it seems like an affected stage act (feigning anger at fans taking pictures is getting to be a bit passe, no less those who might bump into Granny), he comes off as the punchline to his own diminishing joke.
If all that bluster was backed with a voice to match, many might argue differently. Hell, many do argue that point, all the while ignoring how reed-thin his voice is these days (and so high at those crucial moments that you suspect helium is involved). I can't begrudge them that, as I still like Dokken and DLR. But what does he have to offer? Free tickets to his next sponsored wedding reception?
The guys in Skid Row play to thinning rows of fans. They have gone through enough singers to make Frank Banali and Jake E. Lee go, "Geesh, these guys!?!?" But if it wasn't an issue of money getting him back (and it isn't, as they don't need the money), then why would they want to welcome this train wreck back? That is a rhetorical question, obviously.
