Stryper Annouce Tour

Stryper will tour Japan and North America from April to October 30. The band is hitting the road on the back of their new album Fallen. Not my favorite band, but great musicianship to be sure. Check them out live if you've never seen them.

They were never a favorite of mine either, other than the awesome track Soldiers Under Command, but the two most recent are seriously awesome. Figures that they played my area a couple of times before but now I have to travel to see them now that I really want to. Such is life though, guess i'm road tripping in June.

Jack! It will be well worth it! It's got to be the hand of Jesus playing those solos! They are phenomenal live... And see if you can catch a bible when they're chucking them out into the audience, a ritual as iconic in the Metal world as Gene Simmons spitting blood!

Never a huge fan, but the last few studio efforts were great including their covers album. I believe they did "Over The Mountain" (correct me if I'm wrong) and Heaven And Hell. A lot of their stuff isn't really my cup of tea, but they're phenomenal musicians. What I've seen from live clips looks pretty cool too.

I saw them (with Hurricane, one of my favorite bands) around '89 on the In God We Trust tour, and they were great then. A few years ago, I saw them on The Covering tour, and they blew the roof off the place! Phenomenal musicianship, and Michael Sweet still sounds amazing. Sadly, I didn't catch a Bible though.
