Is Steven Adler Part Of The Guns n' Roses Reunion After All?
Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 12:02AM
So check it: Whisky A Go-Go posted an alert on their Facebook page last night, announcing the cancellation of an early April Steven Adler show. #GunsnRoses and "big announcement" are included in the post. So, to me this means our friend Adler is joining the Guns n' Roses reunion in some capacity. #YES.
The Steven Adler show on 4/1 has been canceled. Stay tuned for a big announcement ! #GunsnRoses

Izzy has always been his own person and is the wild card. I agree with Darktown, if Adler and or Izzy are involved my interest peaks a lot more.
I'm sure Adler's been told to keep his mouth shut or else.
And if it does, I hope that 'Down on the Farm' isn't part of the setlist. :-)

And I don't need your advice
I lead a reckless life
And you know it's my only vice
I like the scenario Gallogs is outlining, as it's something that has been floated out here way before dumba*s Luc Carl or any of the other parasites made mention of it.
I recall when Izzy quit as it was shortly after the "Use Your Illusion Tour" warm up concerts at The Ritz in NYC I was fortunate enough to have witnessed with VIP tickets, one night actually seated next to Iggy Pop.
I remember thinking he probably quit primarily because they had sold out with overblown crap like "November Rain", etc. Also, I'm sure he realized he would still be taking in millions in "mailbox money" off all of his writing credits and royalty checks.
That would lend credence to Darktown's theory of Izzy laying back.
Personally, I think it's gonna go down... All original line-up.
p.s. Jack T. Ripoff! That's the funniest sh*t you've ever written so far. I doubt Guns n' Roses have ever even heard of Tesla! Hahahaha!!!!
However, I read in a GNR biography that one of the main reasons that Izzy Stradlin quit was that he was a Heroin dealer/user. Nikki Sixx and Steven Tyler were some of his regular customers and right before GNR exploded, he was busted and eventually put on probation.
He was continually having problems with his probation officer, trying to stay clean on the road and not being able to pass urine tests, coupled with having to give his PO his tour itinerary and having a curfew. Every time Axl would go on late or the tour got re-routed, etc...his probation officer would come down hard on him for not taking his probation seriously and threaten to incarcerate him. He couldn't take the demands of staying clean in GNR and follow the terms of his probation, so he left.
I am sure that there are many other factors involved, but this is a piece of the puzzle that is often overlooked.
Darktown, that would be so large if Axl fronted AC/DC! Maybe he can do both Gn'R AND AC/DC!
