Bon Jovi, 'This House Is Not For Sale' - New Video

Bon Jovi just announced a new album. This House is Not for Sale will come out on October 21. The title track came out yesterday and the video is below.

This is the band's first album without guitarist Richie Sambora. The album sounds like modern Bon Jovi. That is to say, it's a way less 80s glam and way more top 40-country lite. Bon Jovi is a machine, so this album will probably do well sales-wise. I'm hoping a big tour comes with this new album, since I've never seen Bon Jovi live and they are a band still on my "must see" list. What do you think?

I don't think Sambora was in any way involved with that brown paper bag cover pile of sh*t that was his last Polygram release, either.

BonJovi ceased having anything even remotely considered "doing good sales-wise" around the time of "Have A Nice Day".

Soccer moms and women who don't like metal love Bon Jovi. I think the sales for this album will be just fine. I won't buy it though.

And the last time I saw them live a few years ago, I almost fell asleep. Too bad you didn't see them years ago when they were worth seeing.

You're spot on Rita. JBJ knows exactly how his bread is buttered (by horny 40 something soccer moms), and has made hundreds of millions of dollars baking that bread the exact same way. More power to him..... I saw them on the Slippery tour in 86 with Keel opening. They kicked ass,( an acapella version of Drift Away they did literally floored me).although even then, the crowd was about 60/40 with the majority being those same soccer moms, only in their teens ( my future wife being one of them. LMFAO)

I saw Bon Jovi a few time sin 2003 on the Bounce tour with The Goo Goo Dolls opening, and it was incredible. However, I wouldnt walk across the street to see them now. Especially with no Sambora. This song is as bland and boring as anything theyve done the last 12+ years.

Their last song I liked was "Last Man Standing" with a nice intro guitar riff. Haven't really listened to anything since. Have seen em at least a dozen times in concert in the 90's and early 2000's and always a good show. But I refuse to go with no Richie! Oh and this song sounds like the Jovi of late. Not my cup of tea, but as has been said, right in tune with the target demographic.

Have seen Bon Jovi twice. First time was in 1985 when they were opening for RATT. 7800/Invasion albums respectively. Then saw them a couple of years ago in one Sambora's last shows with the band (I think he played one more after that before leaving the tour).

They're going to play all the hits and some new crap. They'll put on a decent show. Personally, I wouldn't go for the same reasons I have no interest in seeing GnR now: It's the Axl show and the Jon show. But hey, if you've always wanted to see 'em, go for it.

All of their new stuff I've heard really isn't my thing...although I do love the old stuff and would love to see them live. The only problem is that there's no Ritchie Sambora...

That was BRUTAL in every sense of the word. Even the video s*cks!!!

p.s. Okay, Badland, I am envious (not that you care) if you saw Victory. I never did and I consider them one of the greatest ever. I do have "Deep Purple: Texas Jamm '85" on VHS.
